Hi –
I have the same problem. The conflict is with the Rank Math plugin – once deactivated the archive works just fine. Obviously, leaving the SEO plug in deactivated is not an option. The permalink settings are for the post month and name. I’m looking for solutions/next steps, but don’t see any in the Forum.
April 10, 2024 at 10:56 pm in reply to: Changing the color of the top header / social media icons? #1439694That CSS works great for the standard social icons, but I can’t figure out what the input is for “Special: Email icon”. The default green does not work with the companies brand.
Yes, the FTP upload worked. It’s back up and running. Just had a few minor tweaks to get the site back in order.
I’m having the same problem. I updated three sites due to the wordpress auto-update glitch, all three sites use the enfold theme, but one of them tanked out. GoDaddy help desk said the theme was “not compatible” and reset it to a basic theme so I could get back in. Now enfold won’t load and the error message is “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.” I guess I’ll try the FTP install. :(
Perfect. Thanks!
Thanks! That did the trick! I appreciate it!
September 29, 2017 at 7:42 pm in reply to: Thumbnails are not all same size in Portfolio Grid #858590The images were the same size, but just to be on the safe side I re-exported the featured images as squares. Then I added the recommended plug-in. I set the square thumbnail to the exact size of my images and left the “yes to cropping” option on. Then i regenerated the featured images and updated each of the portfolio items. Then I went to the portfolio page and changed the “selected image size” to be “square”. Results are unchanged – bottom row displays correctly as a square, top rows are compressed, and no pad displays between rows (only columns).

September 28, 2017 at 7:00 pm in reply to: Thumbnails are not all same size in Portfolio Grid #858188Yes, the images are blurry; once the scaling is resolved I can swap them out for images with an appropriate dpi. The site is still in development so i’m not worried about content right this second.
The settings on the two grids are exactly the same, except that projects is displaying 9 and leadership displays 6. And I have no idea why leadership suddenly started behaving, which means that I have no idea if it will suddenly break again.
September 28, 2017 at 12:11 am in reply to: Thumbnails are not all same size in Portfolio Grid #857746Update: i changed the leadership page to have a “square 180×180” thumbnail size and it suddenly began to have square thumbnails and respond to the quick CSS on padding. (See below for exactly which code). However, the other page with the exact same set up has not changed and still displays same problem of “squished” top rows. Really at a loss as to what is causing the change or the problem.
Pad code:
.grid-entry.flex_column {
padding: 30px;
}September 26, 2017 at 10:28 pm in reply to: Thumbnails are not all same size in Portfolio Grid #857161I am on the most recent WP & Enfold. I updated all plug-ins. I deactivated all 4 plug-ins, cleared browser data and refreshed. Problem still persists. :(
September 25, 2017 at 6:06 pm in reply to: Thumbnails are not all same size in Portfolio Grid #856643Nope. A 1/1 container does not work. Now they’re just extra large and squished.
Heh. Upgraded to the latest WP version and the portfolio tab came back. The magic of reboot. The toddler assisted deletion of plug-ins made me panic. Thanks for your help. I think I’m ok now.
Yes, I can provide access. Is this a closed forum? Or is there an email address to send to? Don’t really want to provide access to everyone who comes along.
Basic gist is that I’m transferring from an old custom theme to enfold. Some plug-ins got deleted and along with them went the “portfolio items” tab on the menu. Perhaps that is fine? But then, how do I access the portfolio items?
December 9, 2015 at 10:11 pm in reply to: Preview button not showing recent changes while editing #549990I’m also having this problem on a site with multiple admins. One admin is experiencing the problem, while others are not. Was this ever solved?
