Thanks for helping so quickly Yigit!
Andrew
Thank you. There’s just one remaining issue. The icon and link now work, but when hovering over the Houzz icon it says ‘icon_name’ and not Houzz. I’ve tried a few things but can get this to change.
Andrew
Of course (!), you’ll need this site address:
Thanks for bearing with me!
Ok, I’ve found and downloaded the appropriate icon from fontello as a zip and have successfully added it to the site. (I can see and use it from the icon list menu option.)
I have added the code to Functions.php as directed in your last reply. I suspect now I need to substitute the icon name in this code, but am not sure…
I’ve set up a temp admin login as requested.

Hi Yigit,
Thanks for the quick response. I did see that post, but I’m afraid I need more basic instructions: How do I add this code? To what file? Do I need to substitute the specific Houzz details into part of the code?
Apologies for my ignorance!
Andrew
I found the following plugin (free version) solved my problem. I paid the few pounds for the full version in order to be able to customise the colour of the map too.

I wonder if you were able to solve this issue? I’d also like to include the satellite function on an embedded Google map. If you could share the final code changes you used in shortcode.js I’d be very grateful!
Andrew
Great, many thanks.
I understand how to use the element inspector now too. So it appears I’ll have to add a snippet of css for each and every menu item.

This reply has been marked as private. Thanks; the first part has worked, but not the second – maybe because I’ve already selected a predefined color scheme under General Styling?
