Hello Dude,
Thanks for the reply. Ok, as long as I know it is there because yoast cannot see it for some reason which made me think they are not being added.
Andrew
I have noticed this issue too since updating Chrome yesterday. It seems that when the page is first visited it looks a mess, the slider is not working and like advised above, the links are all blue. When you reload the page it comes back as it should – perhaps an issue with the latest version of chrome??
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks Josue,
I will give it a try.
Andrew
Another issue with alignment, this time it is with the latest version of firefox. Now the testimonials work fine in IE and Chrome but in FF they are bunched up cutting some of the text off and also slicing the bottom buttons,

Thanks Yigit
Andrew
Ok, fair enouigh.
Thanks
Andrew
Hello Yigit,
I am seeing more problems with the testimonials widget on tablet/mobile browsing so I think I will have to look at another way of displaying them, for instance on mobile the text is centered but the container isn’t which sort of looks a mess. I will get back to you if I decide to use them.
Thanks again for trying.
Andrew
My mistake! Sorry to waste your time. It appears the auto update yesterday removed the content from the google maps widget for some reason.
Thanks again for your help
Andrew
Sorry but no I can’t send a link.
Can you test it from your version on your android device?
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks for the reply.
I think part of the problem is that the Smart Layers option for AddThis is fairly new and not as configurable as the WP plugin. The problem with the
plugin is that as far as I can see you can’t add a vertical option, only horizontal which looks pretty crap.Stuck between a rock and a hard place!:-)
Thanks again,
Andrew
Hello,
Still doen’t work. I have removed all other custom css, deactivated all plugin and tried adding the testimonials to a blank page and still they are pulled to the left of the page.
It is reading the custom css but ‘not’ the align. I have tested this by adding a custom class and setting the background of the block to red. It changes the background to red but will not center the element.
So, it’s not me!:-) all other elements on the page read the enter align ok apart from the damn testimonials.
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks Yigit,
I will give it a go on a blank page in the morning and see what happens.
Thanks again for your help.
Andrew
Thanks but I am working on local until it is live.
Have you tested it yourself with the latest version?
Andrew
Thanks,
As advised above I have already tried adding important but to no avail. I need to get this working before going live as I need to
demonstrate it first. If I cannot get it working I will have to redo the layout which is a shame because the testimonials look good.It seems that nothing responds to the class .avia-testimonial-content so I am left wondering if it is a problem with the code where
this is concerned? Thanks again for trying.
Andrew
Sorry I can’t it’s not live yet.
I have also tried removing all other custom css and just adding the css for the centering of the testimonials but still no joy,
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks for the reply but unfortunately it is still pulled to the left, I also added !important to it but still no change.
Andrew
Thanks Yigit,
Will give it a try!
Andrew
Thanks Jose,
It’s not a live site at the moment which is why I am just trying to find the code to change.
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks Ismael.
Andrew
Thanks Josue,
Unfortunately it didn’t hide it?
Andrew
Hello Josue,
Not at the moment. Could you provide me with the code??
Thanks
Andrew
Ok, I am still having problems with the syntax and the many different suggestions in the support forum so can someone please let me know the correct css for the following:
Background of the tab title for active and inactive tabs
Color of the font for the title for inactive and active tabs
background color of the tab content box (where the content is actually added)Thanks
Andrew
I think this might be a problem with w3 total cache and the way the cache files are purged. When I make a change I purge all caches but for some reason it looks like the CSS from enfold is not being updated with the new information. Deactivating w3 total cache is the only way I can get the css to update??
Any ideas on a workaround?
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks Josue,
Sounds like a better solution:-) Thanks for your help,
Andrew
oops, looks like the post above was converted because it included html, any chance you could change it to show the code?
Thanks
Andrew
I worked it out after trial and error:-) In case anyone is trying to do the same. The a class is for a button matching the theme colors. I have used this in the text area of a testimonial grid which works ok.
The rel=”prettyphoto[pp_gal] is the gallery code and can be changed to include multiple galleries, for example rel=”prettyphoto[mygallery1]. Just change the name of the rel link for the gallery and make sure all images you want ‘in’ that gallery also include the same rel attribute.
<span>Click here for photos</span>
<div style=”display: none;”></div>
Andrew
Thanks Ismael,
I know that as I mentioned in the first post. I am a bit confused about Josue’s method though.
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks Josue,
Thanks for the reply. I am ok with creating classes in the custom css file and applying this to containers in general but I am a bit lost when it comes to applying it to a ‘page container’? For example, if I just want to add a special class to a column container this is easy enough to do by adding the class ID to the column container but where (visually) would I apply the class to the entire page?
Thanks
Andrew
Hello Jose,
Thanks for the reply. Can you please explain how page templates would help with custom CSS as each page has a unique ID?
Thanks
Andrew
