Hello Yigit,
It’s ok. I think the problem is because I have images in 4 columns which are taking up space. So, the code works for padding on the bottom as there is room for it there, it doesn’t work on the right/left because the images are too large to incorporate padding (I think)
Please close this one off.
Thanks again for your advise.
Andrew
Hello Yigit,
Thanks for the reply.
Still doesn’t work. Also, as advised, it’s not just the button in the ajax box but in the text above it you can see the problem too. There are spaces in the text that are not being applied.
Thanks
Andrew
Scrap that last comment. It is working but the images within the columns are too large to show
any padding.Thanks
Andrew
Hello Ismael,
I am also trying to do this on a 4 column layout but the following code doesn’t work:
#top .grid-entry.no_margin.av_one_fourth {
padding: 10px;
}Any ideas?
Thanks
Andrew
Just to add, I have tried the following code but it doesnt make any difference:
.pricing-table li.avia-pricing-row .currency-symbol {
opacity: 1;
}Thanks
Andrew
Just to add, what does the iconbox title have to to with button and paragraph text in the ajax view?
Thanks
Andrew
Hello Yigit,
Thanks for the reply. I have added the code but this has not solved the problem.
Andrew
Hello Devin,
Thanks for the reply.
I have managed to change the dimensions of the image that gets displayed in the ajax box (the main large image), not sure if this will have an effect on other areas but so far so good. I must say though to anyone else reading this that this only worked for me because the ajax was upscaling my main ajax image, not sure it would be suitable for other users. Also, this only works if you have a ‘single image’ in the ajax description, not a gallery of images.
Anyway, here’s what I added to the custom css:
#top .portolio-preview-list-image, #top .portolio-preview-list-image img{
margin-left:10%;
display:block;
position: relative;
width:80%;
}The width sets the image to 80% of the ‘upscaled’ size so you would need to play around with it to get a best fit for the original image size/resolution. The margin left sets the image to be centered in the ajax box, otherwise it aligns to the left.
As advised, this works for me – however, if you think this would cause issues in other areas of the theme (I only use ajax for preview) then please let me know.
Thanks

It’s not on a mobile data connection. It’s on 2 tablet devices and one mobile which are both wifi (the same as the desktop). Anyway, I’ll keep an eye on it. Seems to be ok most of the time now with total cache.
Thanks
Andrew
Hello and thanks for the reply.
I have been doing some more testing this morning. One thing I have noticed is that on desktop the site is very fast to load (it’s a VPS server so no speed issues) but on Android it is very slow. This is what makes me think that the css is not loading correctly and why sometimes I just get the page without any css styles applied (not just quick css but the built in theme css).
So, what I did was to try it with W3 Total Cache enabled. I set total cache to build a cache file of all pages/portfolio entries with a longer timeout period. This seems to have helped a lot. I still get some pages where I have to refresh for it to read the css and display correctly but overall it is working much better. Do you think it could be a lag in the css loading times?
Thanks
Andrew
Ok, it’s definitely a problem with the css (quick css) and stylesheets in general. I have been testing for a couple of hours on a range of browsers. When I completely clear my cache on tablet/mobile and load the site the first page loads ok with the quick css settings. But, when I navigate to other pages it all starts to go wrong as advised in the first entry above. I can tell it is not loading the quick css on subsequent navigation because things like layersliders which are hidden on mobile view start to appear on pages. But, it’s not just the quick css problem. It’s a stylesheet problem in general because some pages don’t apply any style at all.
Help!:-)
Thanks
Andrew

Will give it a go.

Ignore the above. I think it is working as it should – the tag cloud displays all the tags but when you click a color it filters it.
Thanks

Hello and thanks for the reply.
I think there is some confusion here as to what I am asking. I don’t want to change page titles etc (I already use yoast on another site and know it’s configuration settings quite well). Basically I need to know why the portfolio base is different from the breadcrumb link and why the portfolio base returns a 404 error. As advised in a previous entry to this post, I don’t mind if I have to use a redirect as long as I know this wont cause a problem and also why this is a problem?
Thanks
Andrew
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
It doesn’t matter what I set it to. The actual breadcrumb link is OK but the URL lists the portfolio base then the portfolio page. When back linking to the portfolio page in the URL there is no such page. The breadcrumb link works though. Just seems very confusing from a user point of view. I guess I could use a redirect but am not really sure why I would need to.
Thanks

Just wondering why I need a plugin?
Andrew
Anyone?
Thanks

Hello and thanks for the reply.
I’ve just realised this was my fault, my apologies for wasting your time.
I had background colors applied to the element in the custom css but of course as I added
new elements the element ID changed without me realising so I was in fact targeting the button
ID by mistake.Thanks again,
Andrew
Hello Ismael,
Thanks for the reply. I did have a look at the lightbox option but prefer the way the ajax one for the portfolios works and looks. Oh well, can’t have everything I guess:-)
Thanks again,
Andrew
Thanks again Peter.

That didn’t work unfortunately. The plugin maker has confirmed this is something that enfold is doing so I will provide you with a link when the site has been uploaded. Please keep this open in the meantime if possible?
Thanks
Andrew
Thanks Ismael,
Yes, I know I can manually change it, it’s just a pain to do so each time with lots of text.
Thanks for the link, I will take a look.
Andrew
