  • in reply to: Hamburger menu problems after WP 6.6 upgrade #1462261

    Thanks a lot.
Just a last question: I see also a error message in Site Health.

    Autoloaded options could affect performance
Autoloaded options are configuration settings for plugins and themes that are automatically loaded with every page load in WordPress. Having too many autoloaded options can slow down your site. Your site has 1106 autoloaded options (size: 942 KB) in the options table, which could cause your site to be slow. You can review the options being autoloaded in your database and remove any options that are no longer needed by your site.

It’s the first time that I see this alert. Do you know what it means? Maybe is this the possible cause of the JavaScript errors that you noticed before?

    Thank you Rikard,
disabling LiteSpeed Cache the menu returns active.
Do you have any idea how I can prevent this from happening again if I turn LiteSpeed back on?
And – in any case – I need a “strong” cache to speed up everything so… could you suggest me an alternative product that won’t cause problems for Enfold?

I’m absolutely sure that it works totally fine for you. Today Kriesi.at has released an upgrade that contains a patch.

If you read your own changelog (version.txt) you’ll find:
    – – –
    2015 November 5th – Version 3.4.2 (it should be the 13th but it isn’t a problem)
    – folder js:
    – fixed: a bug that caused sliders to stop after the first rotation

    – – –

…A bug. Precisely. Have a nice day.

    OK.
But …you do not need to enter my website: you just look at the official demo to see that – even there – it doesn’t work.
Anyway, considering that this slider is probably broken, can you tell me what plugin I could use to create a slide show compatible with the theme?

    Good morning Rikard,
I read that the slider is working good on your end.
Well, I wonder about your OS and browser, because yesterday I’ve tryed it on 3 different Macs with equally different OS and they all have the same problem.
5 minutes ago’ I’ve also tryed to visualize the same slider using Firefox under Windows XP SP3 and Edge under Windows 10. Again, both the slide shows are interrupted when switching from the first to the second block of images.
So, out of curiosity I went to look at what’s going on http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-shop/
Well, I dont know how you can see it there, but, on my side, the transition from the former set (four photos from blu bluse to green bluse) to the latter one (four photos from green bluse daria to hamilton skirt) suddenly ends without any loop, then I do not see any more movement or image carousel. No loops and, if I push on the arrows ( http://kriesi.at/themes/#prev or http://kriesi.at/themes/#next ), nothing happens.
In my opinion, the slider has problems… but if you manage to make it work I will be happy to go back on my words :-) :-)

About my dashboard… maybe you have problems with the Mac special characters, so I’ve changed the password avoiding to use them. See the new one in private content.
