Where would I find the functions.php file? In what folder?
Is this going to affect every page in the site?

Thanks for this. The code for the mobile menu fixed my problem with that, but the caption overlay issue is not solved. I can give you my login credentials if that helps. Let me know. I added the @media only…. code to the custom css at the bottom of the general styling window. Is that where it belongs?
The element to which I am referring is a masonry gallery placed within a portfolio entry. The captions are set to display on mouse hover only, but of course, that doesn’t apply to a mobile device so they are showing all of the time. Here is an example:

Thanks,

Back to trying to troubleshoot this issue and it’s still not working. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I put the code in the custom css and cleared the cache on my ipad, but I still see the captions. Also, I am having a lot of trouble with the responsive design on tablets. In portrait mode I am still getting the main horizontal menu showing, even though I have set the mobile menu to activate on both smartphones and tablets, it is not activating on my ipad in landscape mode. Is there a way to fix this? Also, disabled the breadcrumbs, but they are still showing on the mobile devices.

Thanks but this did not solve my problem. I placed it in Quick css under general styling. Still seeing the captions on the gallery images displayed in mobile devices. Any other fixes?

Scroll down to galleries. Even though I have included multiple portfolio categories in the gallery, it only shows all in the sorting menu.Lynda

When I tried to add this code I got an error message that said there was a syntax error in this line:
function avia_init_relevanssi($function_name, $search_query, $search_parameters, $defaults)
I don’t know enough about php to fix it. ?Lynda
Thanks, Devin,
I did get SearchWP and it does search the captions in the masonry gallery (yeah!) however, it’s behaving a bit strangely.
I saw another post with some php code that is supposed to be used with the theme when implementing Relevanssi, but the post doesn’t say where I would enter that code. Can you help?
LyndaI am having the exact same issue. Watched the video, but it did not help. How can I get the masonry portfolio to pull images, or at least one representative image from a specific gallery? Can you outline how the masonry portfolio works in terms of where it’s pulling the images from? If I have a gallery of multiple images, how can I get one to appear in the masonry portfolio and then link to the entire gallery?
If I want individual images to appear from multiple galleries how do I do that?
Thanks so much,
