    Hi!

    First I tested site with image gallery inside right panel i get PageSpeed Score 43%
    Secondly I removed image gallery and got 85% as PageSpeed Score.
    Third change was to change thumbnail image size to 40×40 and regenerate thumbs. now i get pagespeed of 85%

    For this preticular site we are able to fix this as it is fixed width by Gallery Preview Image Size.

    But when site is fullwidth, image and thumbnail selection should be tied to srcset or mediaquery.
