Makes no difference regarding the footer
Hi Andy! Thank you for your reply.
I checked on several computers, Windows and Ubuntu, different browsers, cleared cache, no caching plugin and it´s the same everywhere. The footer on all updated pages features black headings and links in #2997ab. The headings are supposed to be white and the links #e1e1e1. On pages that haven´t been updated recently it is right e.g. http://www.eiweisspulver-test.com/whey-protein/esn-designer-whey and all the other pages mentioned above as I haven´t been able to update them due to the other problems.
2) and 3) Yeah now they are fine as I set them back to a state that worked, but after updating they are messed up.
Cheers!
Arkadi
Thank you for your replies! Setting the primary color right solved a lot of problems. That was my mistake..
Problems that are still remaining are the following:
1. some pages don´t respond to footer and socket style settings, some do. (actually the link color of the footer links changed to the primary color as well, but in footer settings the are set to #fcfcfc and thats what they are supposed to be. see http://www.eiweisspulver-test.com/whey-protein/esn-designer-whey for a correct example) The problem applies to all pages I updated recently.
2. More updating problems: On three specific pages there are even more severe problems occuring after I try to update them
On these two the tables get completely messed up:
http://www.eiweisspulver-test.com/casein/my-supps-100-natural-casein
http://www.eiweisspulver-test.com/sojaprotein/my-supps-100-natural-soy-isolateOn this one the middle section which has a 1/2-1/2 layout is displayed one below the other.
http://www.eiweisspulver-test.com/whey-protein/body-attack-extreme-whey-deluxe
I set all these three pages back to a version that is working but I need to be able to update them.
There are some quick css modifications. With html codes I couldn´t find any problems.
Thank you Ismael! This seems to be the best solution.
Can you recommend any specific plugin? I´ve tried several and nothing is working with clickable images. Even removed the regular icon hover effect via quick css. Still not working.
Is there a way to integrate code blocks in a (content) slider? Also it doesn´t work with clickable images. The regular hover effect seems to interfere with the changing image effect. How do I turn this effect off for only these images?
In the text blog the code always changes to a regular image after saving. In the code block it stays.
When I tried it before the effect wasn´t there. Now I have the image rollover effect but when I want to make the image clickable the “icon hover effect” seems to interfere with the changing image. So it doesn´t work with clickable images right now. And the code is still changing in text blocks.
Hi Rikard,
Hey Yigit!
I tried to use the code but after saving it always converts to a regular image, not only in the appearance but also code-wise. Do you know what I can do?
Best regards,
Arkadi
Okay, there seems to be a simple html solution for this: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/create-rollover-images/
Whenever I use this code it automatically converts to a code for a normal image after saving. What´s wrong?
Hi Elliott,
thanks for the ideas but it´s not what I´m looking for. Actually an image thats able to change on hover to a different one would do the job. Is that possible somehow?
Regards,
Arkadi
I could fix it. The “Large seperator” setting made everything look weird. Without seperators it looks much better. So it´s all good now. Thank you for your effort Yigit!
I understand that on smaller screens one line is not enough. I guess thats fine and also i can see if I change the menu items.
But the overall style of the menu is still flawed. The spaces on the left and right side of the items are inconsistent i.e. they don´t have the same size. For example item “Bio” has a bigger space on the right side than on the left, item “Weight Gainer” a bigger space on the left and item “Über” a much bigger space on the right. Also the spaces are too big in general and the items are stretched over the full size of line. I think they should rather be centered. I checked it on several screens. Looks the same everywhere.
This reply has been marked as private.Hi,
what exactly do you want me to remove. Concerning the navigation there is the following in the quick css:
.menu > li:first-child a { border-left: 0 none !important; } #header_main_alternative { border: 0px !important; } .menu > li:last-child a { border-right: 0 none !important; } .av-main-nav > li > a { border: none !important; } #header_main_alternate { border-top-color: transparent!important; } .av-main-nav > li > a > .avia-menu-text { border-left: 1px solid; padding-left: 18px; } li#menu-item-1460 > a > .avia-menu-text { border: none; padding-left: 0; } .av-main-nav > li > a { padding: 0; } .title_container { background-color: #e2e2e2; } .av-main-nav > li > a > .avia-menu-text { padding-right: 0; } #top .av_seperator_big_border#header .av-main-nav > li > a { padding-left: 0; } #header #header_main_alternate .container { max-width: 100%; padding: 0; }
Removing all of that and replacing it with the code you gave me leads to a terrible result.
Thank you Yigit. It is better now but still looks a bit weird. The spaces between the menu items and the borders are not consistent. Can you help?
Cheers,
Arkadi
Alright, thank you very much!
Thank you. The navigation looks really good now. Any idea how to make the background of the title bar grey (see question above)?
No idea how to do it?
Just to clarify once again:
– the separators between the links are now too wide apart from the links. On the left side of the link I can change it via “padding” but not on the right side
– I would like the bar that displays the title of each page (on my homepage it is “Eiweißpulver Test – der Supplement Guide”) to be like the one in the example I provided earlier i.e. with grey background
Thanks for your help!
Thank you Yigit! This works. I see it is possible to change the padding on the left side. But is it also possible on the right side of each link? Now there is too much space between the link and the separator. And how? I tried it but it only added extra padding. And is there a way to change to background color of the “page title bar” which says “Eiweißpulver Test – der Supplement Guide” in h1?
Thank you Elliott! This removed the borders on the left and right side. I also want the border on the top to disappear and the borders between the links to be shorter and not connect to the border below. The line with the title of the page that says “Eiweißpulver Test – der Supplement Guide” should be grey in #fcfcfc. Everything just like on the preview picture I posted. Since the preview picture of the header showed this style as an example I supposed there have to be theme options that make this possible but I couldn´t find them.
Perfect. Thank you!
Hi Elliot,
I tried it again and now it works. Last time I used a dot in the class name and maybe that was the problem. Anyway, thank you very much for your help and have nice Christmas days!
Cheers,
ArkadiI did what you said but it doesn´t change anything. Here is a screenshot:
There you can see the black arrow icons and percentage values next to them are aligned left. They should be centered, as well.
Cheers,
ArkadiThank you Elliott! This works fine. Do you have a solution for the last icon under the separator?
Yeah I did this. I´m really pleased with the result now. Thank you Yigit!
Thank you very much! This code works when the “strong” tags are outside of the link tags. If they are inside the link is black.
Thank you Yigit but it only changed the color of the links in the table that say “Whey Protein”, “Casein” etc. These links should stay white.
Hi,
it doesn´t help either. It even changed a bold link in a table with theme color into black as well.. Here is the link to the page http://www.eiweisspulver-test.com/
There are bold links in the table that say “Details” and in the slider next to it with the names of the products.
Cheers,
Arkadi
