March 9, 2022 at 11:54 am in reply to: Image loading at fullsize but then rendering to another size #1343810
Hi Ismael,
Here are the two screenshots… I upload the image and fullsize is available. I can see it onscreen the full showing but then if I refresh or go into the media archive again, it has defaulted to a 1183x924px size. I did try setting the media archive “largest size” to 2560 x 2000 instead of the setting which it has now of 1030 x1030 but it made no difference.
THANK YOU very much for you assistance!.

February 25, 2022 at 4:17 pm in reply to: How to align 3 3rd boxes to the bottom of a colour section #1342296Hi Rikard,
The page is Link to HenningDaverne.dk and we want to keep the 3 white boxes touching the fold to be floating just above the fold and as the client works on 2560px screen size, these 3 boxes keep dropping down too low (whereas 1920px looks great).
I don’t know whether I need to start a separate thread for this… but is it possible to align the main menu links on the bottom. I have a header height of 250px which means when you hover over the menu for the submenu dropdown links they look like they are adrift from the main menu
Thanks for a super quick reply and have a super weekend :-)
AnnemarieTHANKS Ismael for the clarification, I suspected that’s the case but sometimes no matter what you say to a client they insist they want something. Hopefully it’s enough to help the client realise that it’s really not necessary!
Wow Ismael that was fast, you’re a wizard looks super!! Any idea how I get the main desktop menu underneath as a scrolling menu?
Best wishes,
AnnemarieSeptember 6, 2021 at 3:13 pm in reply to: Essential / Default Images Sizes in Media Archive #1319874Super, thanks Mike. I don’t want to effect old images if I can, so that’s perfect.

Yes you can close this topic. Thanks :-)

April 6, 2021 at 8:50 am in reply to: How to get a Vimeo video with poster image to open in same window or lightbox #1292705Hi Ismael,
I AM VERY SORRY…. the actual link was wrong, I had “https://player.vimeo.com/video/157977774” as the link instead of “https://vimeo.com/157977774”. I feel stupid for missing the obvious.. but thank you for knowing your stuff!! :-)
— AnnemarieApril 1, 2021 at 12:36 pm in reply to: How to get a Vimeo video with poster image to open in same window or lightbox #1291761Hi Ismael,
that’s actually the setting I have it at (because I know it has worked on other sites I’ve built)… tried doing it over completely but it’s still opening in a new window.
Just a thought (forgive me if it’s stupid), does it have anything to do with the fact I don’t have the addition shortcode options activated on my Avia Layout Builder only the standard Theme shortcodes?
If it is anything to do with the PERFORMANCE settings, here is a screenshot:

October 29, 2020 at 2:12 pm in reply to: Mega Menu – Title linked with a little text underneath #1256721Thanks Victoria, I decided to drop the description text so I could complete the menu but thanks for the tip. I knew it had to be something interfering and with the next site (that’s not being build live), if it happens I know to disable plugins.
October 23, 2020 at 11:26 am in reply to: Mega Menu – Title linked with a little text underneath #1255219Hi Victoria, I already have the description boxes. If I add the text and tick the description box then nothing is linked. If I untick the description box then the description text disappears off the menu frontend and then I just get the title linked. If you go online and look at the difference. The first menu item “Hjemmeside” with description is how I want it but nothing is linked. The next item is Webshop & Ecommerce which is set up the same but I have unticked the description box… the item is now linked but no description text.

Hi Yigit,
Can you tell me exactly what we need to do to fix it? Do we replace your text in the link above (1067 lines) with all the text in the “av-helper-slideshow.php” file?June 21, 2019 at 1:52 pm in reply to: saving didn’t work please reload the page and try again #1112329Hi Nikko,
Many thanks, however I got tips from the 2 threads below that it was a hosting issue (re MODSecurity which our hosting guys are currently looking into and confirm it is an issue). Just put the links below for anyone having same problem. Thanks again for your time.
June 21, 2019 at 10:50 am in reply to: saving didn’t work please reload the page and try again #1112284What was the solution?
I have the same issue now?May 9, 2019 at 5:08 pm in reply to: Shop check out page – notification/error boxes can't be seen without scrolling #1099016For anyone with the same issue, I solved it by disabling the “sticky header” which released viewing space for the notification boxes to be seen (even if the scroll bar still doesn’t go back to the top to the page). (Info: How to disable sticky header – go to “Enfold Child” in control panel, click on “Header”, then “Header Behaviour” tab, and untick box “sticky header”.
This might be a useful link for anyone needs to fix this in functions file and can’t live without the stick header:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/checkout-error-message-fixed-header-navbar-scroll-problem/May 8, 2019 at 1:23 pm in reply to: Shop check out page – notification/error boxes can't be seen without scrolling #1098441Hej Vinay,
Your screenshot doesn’t show any red notification box which suggests you didn’t get the experience I refer to. You have to complete the order details and LEAVE ONE OF THE * FIELDS OUT and continue to the end of the page, tick the two accept boxes and press the green “Afgiv Ordre” (Accept order) button. SEE SCREENSHOT – https://imgur.com/2U6rVnw
Then the page will shoot back to the top to let you know something is missing with the red notification box… BUT because the scroll bar doesn’t go right to the top the customer doesn’t see it. They just see the green notification box in your screenshot which is the same as the box they saw when they first arrived so they can’t figure out what’s wrong with the order. They don’t realise they have to scroll up themselves to reveal the red notification box.
I’ve already:
– disabled the merging and compression settings
– cleared my cache,
– tried hard loads and get the same experience in FireFox and Chrome. I hope it has nothing to do with cache because customers would not have a clue about that so we can’t help them.If it helps, I found I had to add a line-height to get them completely round… Aswell as the border-radius, I needed to add a line-height definition:-
If you are using MEDIUM SIZE BUTTON:-
border-radius: 100px;
line-height: 18px;If you are using LARGE SIZE BUTTON:-
border-radius: 100px;
line-height: 42px;Hej Tobias,
The code I used did give me the rounded buttons in the Button Row element (and I was rather pleased with myself!)… BUT the border-radius 100px now overrides the border-radius on all standard buttons so my default buttons have now taken on the button row element “border-radius; 100px” :-(
Sorry I jumped the gun because it effects styling on default buttons… but have pursued a solution on this thread…
Reply to: Custom styling for the new button row elementHi Guys,
I also wanted to do this but as the .avia-button class is included in that code it effects the buttons globally so you cannot set a radius on your standard site buttons. I’ve tried all kinds of ways to specifically effect only those button row buttons but I can’t figure it out… need your GENIUS on this one if possible please.
I got them round as I wanted to do the same – added below to Quick CSS. :-)
USING MEDIUM SIZE BUTTON
#top .avia-button, #top .av-menu-button > a .avia-menu-text {
border-radius: 100px;
line-height: 18px;
}
USING LARGE SIZE BUTTON
#top .avia-button, #top .av-menu-button > a .avia-menu-text {
border-radius: 100px;
line-height: 42px;
}March 22, 2018 at 12:18 pm in reply to: Fullwidth Easy Slider image loading pre-set size not original #931201Ismael thank you so much for your time. Thanks to your tip (and for info for anyone with the same problem), on this site it’s the first time we are using a “Jetpack” package and there is a setting that we clicked called “serve images from our servers”… when we deactivated that setting the slider now works as perfect as it always has.
So sorry for taking up your time!!

March 21, 2018 at 3:07 pm in reply to: Fullwidth Easy Slider image loading pre-set size not original #930614Hi Ismael,
no I didn’t resize images… I have just uploaded two images into the media archive again… one 1920px and one 1617px wide and they are both still resizing to a 1500px width.Annemarie.
March 12, 2018 at 11:28 am in reply to: Fullwidth Easy Slider image loading pre-set size not original #925448Hi Victoria,
the issue is that the original image is 1617px wide, it is loaded into the media and available at that size and the selection I have set is “load original image size” but it is only
- loading a thumbnail size of 1500px wide
– yes I can stretch it but that’s the thing I want to avoid so the image is as crisp as it can be. I have built at least 25 sites with Enfold and always used the Fullwidth Easy Slider in exactly the same way and it loads my original size no problem (with or without a link on the image).
March 9, 2018 at 10:10 am in reply to: Fullwidth Easy Slider image loading pre-set size not original #924364Hi Victoria… thanks!
I have put a fullwidth easy slider back in and loaded a slider 1617px wide (which matches the container size)… but after some playing it is still loading the 1500px width thumbnail no matter what I do, so help would be much appreciated :-)
— AnnemarieJanuary 31, 2018 at 12:08 pm in reply to: Disable category "Uncategorized" in shop breadcrumb #905525Yes, Support could we get your help too…. this appeared on our shop yesterday too and we cannot find how to delete it. The category sits as the first item on the menu list so it is even more irritating. We have run out of solutions trying to delete it.
Would really appreciate your GENIUS .-)- This reply was modified 6 years, 9 months ago by AnnemarieDoolin.
SORRY found the solution which is a new theme function. For anyone else with the same issue here is where it is…
Go to “Enfold Child” in your admin control panel. Click on “Main Menu”. Open up tab “Burger / Mobile Menu” and go to “Clone title menu items to submenu” and select “Create a clone for the title menu item”.
Hi Sarah,
Thank you for your input (and picking up on the footer info)…. the client has decided to create a page rather than use the product page as the “landing page” so he can avail of the settings to hide header, footer etc. more easily so this request is concluded.
For the purpose of anyone else reading, he only tried to put all the information in the product card (which was effectively becoming a long landing page) because it was the only way he could make use of the product widget that chooses quantity and clicks the button to “add to basket”… so I gave him the code below which he could put into a code block and use on a page or post.
(**Note: Re the code below, the number “5527” is the product id which must be replaced with the product id you are using).
<form class=”cart” method=”post” enctype=”multipart/form-data”>
<div class=”quantity”>
<input class=”minus” value=”-” type=”button”>
<input class=”input-text qty text” step=”1″ min=”1″ max=”” name=”quantity” value=”1″ title=”Stk” size=”4″ pattern=”[0-9]*” inputmode=”numeric” type=”text”>
<input class=”plus” value=”+” type=”button”>
</div>
<button class=”single_add_to_cart_button button alt” type=”submit” name=”add-to-cart” value=”5527″>Tilføj til kurv</button>
</form>Thanks Rikard but this didn’t work either. Tried these too:-
.postid-5527 #header_main_alternate {
display: none!important;
}
.postid-5527 #header_main {
margin-bottom: 0;
display: none!important;
}.postid-5527 #header {
display: none !important;
}
.postid-5527 #main {
padding-top: 0px !important;
