so when i added it – it didnt work

but i added it into additional css – and it worked, but only on the home page.

can you please have a look – i have the sidebar switched on, on this product page, but everything is under the product – not in the sidebar.

i cant see an option to change it?

Hi guys

So it turned out my host was the main issue so i changed to a different host.

I changed to php 7 as victoria recommended

also i installed a bunch of plugins

my score went up to 55 in the end, still not ideal, but way better!

thanks for the links, i’m not sure I will be able to look into it myself but i will enquire about php7.

I installed WP super cache and BWP minify
Deleted all the pdfs, installed smushit

tested with google again… mobile 28 desktop 32 – still crap result.

most images that are to be optimised are instagram thumbnails from Enfold instagram widget.

I can try deleting it, although i do like to ideally display instagram and facebook links.

my hosting providers are ignoring me.

thank you – i have raised the issue with the host and will see what they say.
I don’t think i have huge images, they are about 140kb max (1200px wide).

i do have a few huge pdfs on there, (about 2-4 mb) – maybe there is a better way to provide those pdfs without uploading them onto webpage? my clients need to download them – but maybe i could provide a link to google drive instead? what do you reckon?
