Hi– The view that you show is in chrome on a laptop/desktop. In FF, the bottom of the orange box is right on the white line. In Chrome, the bottom of the orange box is 16 pixels off. I just need to know what css to add to make the bottom of that orange box sit on the bottom line in both browsers. My client wants the box sitting on the bottom line in both browsers, but the css I add seems to not be working.
Also- in chrome on the ipad, the footer text why vosburgh, success stories, and home search are moved to two lines. How do I set the margins on these words to ensure that smaller screen sizes see them as I would like?
Thanks for you time and help. :) This is the very last step in this project, so we’re anxious to wrap it up. :)
AngieHi– what you’re seeing is the cut off version. See how the realty executives logo is not full and the orange box is not centered top to bottom? I added a height to the css to force it to work, but in FF, the height has to be set at 118px; and in chrome the height has to be set at 102px; I have it correct right now in FF, but how do I add a height to the css to allow it to show up correctly in ff?

As always– I really appreciate your help. :)

Wonderful! That padding worked in FF, but it’s not working for chrome or on the ipad. Here’s the screenshot of the ipad so you can see how it’s cutting off the footer. http://grab.by/vVw6
I also need to figure out how to set the margins between the border and the text links, so that they don’t move down a line. Right now, the margin is like this: margin-left: 90px;. In that format, it works fine in FF, but I’m sure it looks horrible on other screen sizes/browsers. I should set it to a percentage, right? Any thoughts are helpful! :)
Thanks, Yigit!
AngieHi Yigit! Thanks for sending this. When I put this in, it is still not appearing as a change on the page and it’s not showing up in firebug as having been applied.
Another issue I see is that when I go to landscape or portrait in Chrome on the IPad my menu text is messed up. However, I am not sure how to look at that css on the Ipad to fix it. Do you have any ideas? If I apply your thoughts in the quick CSS will they show up?
Very strange, huh? Never had issues like this before- thanks for your ideas. :)

This reply has been marked as private.Hi- The Quick CSS is in the theme options, go to the “styling” tab and scroll to the bottom of the section.
Thanks! I figure it out… was obviously something with us/you tube and not anything I could fix in the theme. :) Thanks, as always, for the awesome support!
Hi- thanks for the reply. I updated the theme and the related videos still appear at the end of the video. I assume that just updating the theme wasn’t going to totally fix it– any ideas of ways I can manipulate the youtube code to make it work with the theme? I currently have it like this: http://youtu.be/pW0IG5-F9VE?rel=0. Usually, just using rel=0 works in the longer embed code. Thanks for your time!
AngieHi Guys– I am having the same issue— logo is covered by slide out menu. I tried applying the code above, but didn’t have any luck. Site is vosburghrealty.com and any modifications you can suggest are appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi– this is now working and I’m not sure why/what changed but it is. It was happening on my Galaxy S3, but is now fine. I am working still on the css from another post, but other than that– the site is functioning just as promised in the theme features. Thanks for the awesome theme! Feel free to close the thread

I am still having this issue from my Android Samsung S4: logo is not centered and navigation isn’t appearing if I hold it at portrait or landscape orientations.
Also– the layer slider is not showing on my Android phone, either– have not checked on iphone. How can I fix this?
Thanks!

Can we have the navigation switch to the mobile style at the vertical/portrait tablet orientation?
December 18, 2013 at 3:44 am in reply to: Navigation/Logo Affected on IPad and Android/Samsung #201361This reply has been marked as private. It is working fine, but we’re back to the main issue– which is the slider being distorted at a larger size (our fault- not the theme). Mark this thread closed- I have my designer putting new images together at the right width. Thanks! :)
Angie
Thanks- that worked! :)
