Enfold contact form uses WordPress’ default behavior. Not sure why your server blocks it. You could try to ask your host about it. However, as already mentioned there is a solution for this: Contact Form 7 plugin.

make sure you’re using newest theme version.

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

Login credentials include:

• The URL to the login screen.
• A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
• As well as a password for that username.
• permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

we did not do anything. But sounds to me as a simple caching issue. Clear browser cache and hard refresh a few times. Make sure caching from any caching plugin is switched off.
