I would like to join this thread with the same request.I have the same symptom, that enfold would not show blog excerpts if posts created with the “advanced layout editor”. It does show excerpts, if posts created with the default editor.
I followed the instructions from Yigit and was able to create an excerpt successfully.
Still, I would prefer not to have to create manual excerpts but rely on the automatic function to create excerpts.Would there be a fix to this?

thank you for your reply and sorry for my delayed reply. Just got back from a holiday with my girlfriend, now back to work.
I spend some more time to it, threw away everything and started over. Got it done much better.
Setting up with the right settings, I found enfold is able to handle the position of the submenu while “shrink header” is active.So my submenu is now beautifully moving with the header.
Now I have a new question. Since the padding is to big, I would like to reduce it.
Where do I have to look in the functions.php, to find the submenu/header padding function ? So I can lift it 10px.Still need my link?

I did overwrite the functions already. It doesn’t help. I tried to explain this in my post above.
So the problem still occurs.
I would try to overwrite all template files, If someone might answer if this is overwriting my template I created with enfold. Or is it saved some where else?
