Here’s the correct answer in case anyone else is searching for the same issues:
1. If a seach engine spiders your Enfold site with the demo in place, it is going to register the links to the demo images. This will create search results such as …/home/desat-girl-m13/. At that point you will need to delete the image, as there is no way to remove the link. If, on the other hand, you have updated the images prior to spidering, then the links shouldn’t be found.
2. If index directories are showing up in the results you just need to add ” Disallow: /wp-content/themes/ ” to your robots.txt file. You’ll need to use a plugin such as Yoast SEO to create and edit your robots.txt file
October 11, 2016 at 12:35 pm in reply to: enfold small business theme excess links and SEO info #697770Do I have to remove the image in order to get rid of the link? Or can I just get rid of the link?
Also, what should I do about the directories (link 2 in the original post)
Thanks

No sorry i don’t have a way of selecting another template unless I copy their whole folder and css over. Which I have now tried but that causes a bunch load of other issues. If you click on the links I gave on the first message you’ll see what I mean.
Is there anything obvious I can do now?
If not, my primary concern is to get the title showing on the page. Is there anything I can do about that?
I appreciate its a third party plugin, but they aren’t being hugely helpful on this so I’m a bit stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated
