    Devin,

Yes. youtube.com works, and youtu.be doesn’t. Thanks for pointing this out. I don’t understand the issue really, but I am glad that was solved.
About the sidebar, my site does not have sidebars, however I use one here. The sidebar is an arbitrary text/html called “testimonial”. It used to work just fine before the updates.

    It is something like that:

    [av_testimonials style='slider' columns='1' interval='9']

[av_testimonial_single src='' attachment='' name='Rick McLaughlin' subtitle='Assistant Chair, Jazz Department, New England Conservatory of Music, School of Prep and CE' link='http://' linktext='']
I THINK IT’S A GREAT INSTRUMENT, AND WHAT’S COOL IS THAT ANYONE WHO PLAYS ONE ENDS UP AGREEING. ALTEREGO SHOULD BE THE BASS OF CHOICE.

[/av_testimonial_single]

    with more testimonials

[/av_testimonials]

I can provide you a temporary admin access to my website, if needed. Shall I send you the credentials?

    Thanks,
    Valentina

    Thank you. I’ll try.

Because some of the replies are private I am unable to see if there are some suggestions for my case too. It sounds pretty similar. Portfolio is not working correctly after update to newer versions of theme and WP.
I created a new thread once a day for the past 3 days but unfortunately I couldn’t get any assistance. Is there anything I should do? Downgrade perhaps?

    Ismael,

Yes, I’m doing everything as you described.
The parameter with the big preview image size is not passed AND the first image sets the measures for the other ones.
I’m attaching here the snapshots: http://alter-ego.it/wp/snapshot/

    Hi Ismael,

Thank you for your reply. I still not have solved the issue. I uploaded my images in different sizes and I tried different settings combinations. My problem is with the Image Gallery, but also with the Portfolio Grid (thumbnails of different sizes) and the image in any post of my blog. That’s why I think there is a general setting that I am missing. I didn’t have this problem in the old server.

In Settings>Media I have default measurements:
    Thumbnail size 80×80
[YES] Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional)
    Medium size 300×300
    Large size 1030×1030

In the Gallery Preview Image Size option, I have the following:
Gallery Style: Big Image with thumbnail below (80×80) >> this is OKAY
Gallery Big Preview Image Size: Portfolio 495×300 >> THIS PARAMETER DOES NOT PASS and FIRST IMAGE IN GALLERY SETS OTHER IMAGES SIZES STRETCHING THEM IF THEY ARE SMALLER

No: Do not force same size for all big preview images
    Gallery Columns: 6
    Lighbox: YES

Your help will be highly appreciated as I am clueless at this point.
    Thank you,
    Valentina

Thank you Yigit for your really fast reply.
I just added your code, but things seem getting worse.
With your code the home is not boxed anymore and worse I have a fuzzy right margin (!).

Here is a link of the image of my desired layout:
