Thanks Mike,
Still looking for help on these since above suggestions didn’t work…
3) When I decrease the width of my browser window, the tab menu overlaps the logo AND the hamburger menu doesn’t show up. How can I fix that?
4) Is there a way to program the Portfolio sort links in a certain order? i.e. I want them to be as follows:
All / Bathrooms / Kitchens / Hearths / Outdoor Grills / Granite / Marble / Quartzite / Soapstone / Quartz / Green & Recycled
(i.e. Project Types first, followed by Stone Types)I also want this menu to show up automatically on every Portfolio page.
Thanks!
Thanks Rikard,
1) That increased the size of the circle, but not the icons inside the circle. Can you tell me how to do that as well?
2) However, it also affected the icons on the Home page, which I didn’t want. Is it possible to do this without affecting the icons on other pages? The page I’m working on is the only one using the “Icon List” if that helps.
3) I attached a photo of the icons options from the back end. You’ll see the red square and other squares indicating the icons that aren’t showing up. I’ve included login credentials below so you can take a peek.
Thanks!
Hey Enfold Team,
Can anyone help with the above issues?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks Mike,
1) Yes, I’ve re-added the return tag so you can see the issue.
2) Sorry, that’s because I decided to use Portfolio Pages instead of the Blog (now called Projects).
Code doesn’t work.
3) Code removes menu completely. Any other suggestions?
4) I uploaded the plugin, but can’t get it to work.
P.S. I also want to show the same sort menu on all Portfolio Pages, if possible.Hey guys, I decided to use the Portfolio feature instead of the Blog, so disregard the above post.
However, I still need the following:
1) I want to make the Design Tools & Resource title two lines so it takes up less space in the main tab area.
When I add a <br /> tag, the word Resources shows up way down the screen. How can I fix that?2) On the Blog Page: http://new.legacytops.com/calacatta-classique-quartz/
How can I add more space above the Share buttons on every page automatically?3) When I decrease the width of my browser window, the tab menu overlaps the logo AND the hamburger menu doesn’t show up. How can I fix that?
4) Is there a way to program the portfolio sort links in a certain order? i.e. I want them to be as follows:
All / Bathrooms / Kitchens / Hearths / Outdoor Grills / Granite / Marble / Quartzite / Soapstone / Quartz / Green & RecycledThanks in advance for all your help!
And one more… how do I change the URL to include /blog/ to the articles?
You guys are so awesome!
A few more things:
1) I want to make the Design Tools & Resource title two lines so it takes up less space in the main tab area.
When I add a <br /> tag, the word Resources shows up way down the screen. How can I fix that?On the main Blog page: http://new.legacytops.com/blog/
2) How can I remove the word “Categories” from the sidebar?
3) Can I make “Project Type” and “Stone Type” bold?
4) Can I add a return space (white space) between the last item in Project Type and the word Stone Type?
5) I’d prefer the sidebar on the left. When I do that, the link words justify right. How do I justify left?
6) I want to remove the dates from showing up under the post title. On the Blog Page: http://new.legacytops.com/calacatta-classique-quartz/
6) How can I add more space above the Share buttons on every page automatically?
And last, but not least, when I decrease the width of my browser window, the tab menu overlaps the logo AND the hamburger menu doesn’t show up. How can I fix that?
Thanks in advance for all your help!

April 7, 2019 at 6:02 pm in reply to: Header Menu Overlapping Logo / Change Menu Color When Clicked #1088016Thanks so much Rikard,
The CSS worked perfectly!
I have set the main menu to a dark grey, and it turns rust when hovered over… but I want the menu item to remain rust when clicked to indicate which page they are viewing. How can I do that?
June 27, 2018 at 2:54 pm in reply to: Easy Slider Text & Color Modification / Margin Adjustment #978439Thanks Victoria,
Changing the slider width there doesn’t work, because the width is not permanent (i.e. when you change your browser window width, the white space to the left and right of the slider disappears).
I NEED the slider to retain the same left and right margins as the photos below. Is that possible?
Also, I am referring to being able to add a drop shadow to the text over the photos BELOW the slider, not IN the slider.
Again… here are my issues…
1 ) Is there a way to modify the LayerSlider width so it’s not full screen? I changed the slider dimensions, but when you increase/decrease the size of the computer screen, the slider goes full screen. I’m trying to align it with the photos underneath.
2) Is there a way to decrease the white space between the photos below the slider (I want the left/right width to match the top/bottom width)?
3) Is there a way to modify the placement of the text over the photos in the photos underneath the slider? For example, can I move the text to the lower right corner?
4) Can I add a drop shadow to the text over the photos?
5) Why is the word “Collections” (second row, second photo) not centered?
Victoria,
I created a new staging site, uploaded the current theme version and created a child theme… and I’ve included login credentials in my previous post.
I am trying to make the slider the same width as the four photos below it (as well as the other 4 items listed in my post above).See below…
Ismael and team,
I just created a NEW staging site with child theme… which resolved all the issues! FYI.
Now, let’s get back to my original questions…
1 ) Is there a way to modify the LayerSlider width so it’s not full screen? I changed the slider dimensions, but when you increase/decrease the size of the computer screen, the slider goes full screen. I’m trying to align it with the photos underneath.
2) Is there a way to decrease the white space between the photos below the slider (I want the left/right width to match the top/bottom width)?

4) Can I add a drop shadow to the text over the photos?
5) Why is the word “Collections” (second row, second photo) not centered?

Victoria,
The slider works fine, except I was told above that in order to adjust the width (not full screen), I needed to update the theme. I cannot seem to update from 3.8.4 to 4.4 without getting multiple errors, which crash the site.
GoDaddy says it’s 5.6, so I’m not sure if it’s 5.6.3. What do you mean by “it’s still okay for a while?”
Victoria,
I just called and learned that GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress hosting can only support up to PHP 5.6, at the moment. Could this be the issue?
And if so, what should I do?
Shoot Basilis. Now I can’t find the document with the error message. I must not have saved it after all. Did you happen to save it?
Most of the errors were related to the LayerSlider.
Do I need to try to update the theme again? Or???

Victoria,
I have several questions…
1) I’m on a Managed WordPress hosting plan via GoDaddy and my plan includes daily backups, and while I cannot access them; I can restore them if needed. I also have UpDraft Plus and have created a backup. Is that sufficient?
2) I just discovered that my client did not set up a child theme. This is a staging site that was provided to me to with some content. I’ve only changed some minors things in theme options page (colors, fonts, etc.) and added a few lines of code in the Quick CSS field.
3) I’d like to create a child theme now, but I’m struggling to get all my changes to transfer over (via Child Theme Configurator). It appears that all the content has been copied, but none of my changes via the Enfold Theme Options were saved to the child theme (i.e. logo, colors, sidebar settings, etc.). How do I do that? (And no, I have not activated the theme yet.)
4) When I’m ready to import the updated version of Enfold, is there a reason I can’t do it via WordPress? And if not, can you send me exactly what I need to do?
Thank you in advance!
The Enfold theme isn’t actually showing up in the dashboard, so how do I get the latest update?
And what’s the best way to update the theme without losing any content and customizations?
Thanks… and here you go…
I’d also like to add a drop shadow to the text over the photos if possible.
February 8, 2017 at 5:05 pm in reply to: All text are not visible when I connect the Jetpack Plugin #744422Rikard,
Oh shoot, I gave you the wrong un. So sorry. See below.
February 7, 2017 at 5:28 pm in reply to: All text are not visible when I connect the Jetpack Plugin #743983Rikard,
The only two plugins I have activated at this time are Yoast SEO and Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order.
I’ve set up a new user for your testing purposes. Credentials are below.
Thanks Vinay,
I gave up using the Masonry Gallery due to the issue listed above. I’ve got you on another thread regarding the Portfolio Gallery.
February 7, 2017 at 1:13 am in reply to: Desperately Need Help with Portfolio Masonry Gallery #743648Thanks Vinay, but when I pull up the Gallery to Edit/Add Photos, it is blank and I cannot remove the existing photos set up by the theme, nor can I add additional photos.
I ended up using the Portfolio Gallery, which works slick… however, I’d love to add space between the elements. Any way to do that?

February 6, 2017 at 6:35 pm in reply to: All text are not visible when I connect the Jetpack Plugin #743513Hi Rikard,
You are welcome to try, however, when I activated Jetpack the first time, the fatal error blocked me from accessing the admin. I had to call GoDaddy to deactivate all the plugins. I haven’t tried anything since, as I wanted to contact you first.
See access info below…
February 5, 2017 at 9:52 pm in reply to: All text are not visible when I connect the Jetpack Plugin #743063Nikko,
I, too, am getting fatal php errors and can not access my site when I install Jetpack. I contacted GoDaddy and they charged me to increase the php limit, but that didn’t work.
I’d really like to run Jetpack, so can someone please check into this and let me know?
Thanks so much.
Thanks Ismael.
Can you also help me with the other questions about the masonry gallery?
Or is there a way to add space between elements in a gallery? Because I didn’t get an answer, I ended up figuring out how to make the gallery work, but I want space between. (see below)
Two more questions…
1) How do I remove the last part of this tagline after my name?
© Copyright – Allyson Williams Design – Enfold WordPress Theme by Kriesi2) How can I remove “portfolio-item” from this link (and all other portfolio items)?
