Yes! you are a genius! You can close out this thread.
That didn’t work.
That did it, thanks!
One last question, the highlight over the last menu item is cut short slightly. I believe it’s because the menu is holding some space for the hidden shopping cart, but I’m not using woo commerce YET. In the meantime, I would like it to cover the same distance that it does on every other menu item. What code can I use to achieve that?

I did and it still happened, however, my custom code edits the text colors text sizes as well as the highlight color. So if I do have to remove something from the CSS code I listed above, what do I need to pull out of it?
rsbell – With the added content, just add some empty spacers (which would be hidden) to push your content down below the menu.
My problem however is still not solved. My sliders (fullscreen and otherwise) do not show under the menu, but instead are below it.
Bump
I added the logo under transparency settings and left the transparency color alone (as it said it would use the default), but it’s still not working. What custom CSS code above might be messing it up?

Nope, that didn’t do it. I set that code from 1000 to 9999 and that did it.
Thanks!

I wish there was more formatting options available for everything in this theme so I wouldn’t have to add code for all these changes that should be simple to apply.

Don’t kill me, but how do I make the button text larger as well in the slide?
January 27, 2014 at 9:35 pm in reply to: Fullscreen Slider Caption text loses frame with custom caption text #215517Thanks, that did it. One last thing please, if you don’t mind. How do I make the box stay relative to the font size? Right now I have it set to 28, but the box around the font isn’t relative to it’s size the way it is on the title box that says Welcome.

It worked, but it looks a little off, the box is very close to the title box. Without the formatting, it’s spaced properly.
And how do I make the text style strong/bold?
I love you man! Thank you!
I love how customize-able this theme is. I really, really, really wish there was a wiki of standard css codes (background color: value – will change the background color) and a list of headers for enfold with descriptions as to what each does (.main menu – main menu section / li:hover – tell’s the code to apply on hovered text). This way you could just make changes to your heart’s content! I love it. It’s also the reason I tell my friends to purchase this theme.

Thanks, I was able to make it work. I added the + 88 to the js for the full screen slider and the custom padding css you suggested and it worked like a charm.
Thank you so much!
I was wondering though. Is there some way to make it so that when you move you mouse over a menu item, it highlights the whole menu section behind it in a certain color, like the menu on this page: http://mrsgreens.com
January 18, 2014 at 8:59 pm in reply to: Inspiration needed: Frontpage with fullscreen pic and alternative menu #211669Ismael, I have been trying to do the same thing, thanks! You are my hero. The adjustments you made worked perfectly.
January 18, 2014 at 6:50 pm in reply to: Inspiration needed: Frontpage with fullscreen pic and alternative menu #211628Not to hijack this thread, but I am doing almost the same exact thing.
I was wondering, what code can you add to make it so that when you move your mouse over a menu item, it highlights the entire section in that color – in elisions example site, moving your mouse over a menu item highlights the whole block in black. How do I do that instead of the default colored line under the menu item?
I am also trying to do something similar. How do you make it so the transparent menu covers the full screen slider, but this only happens on the homepage as other pages won’t have full screen sliders?
I’d also like to know this. How to add fonts so they show up under Enfold’s Theme Styling Customization page. And not just google fonts, but any font I upload.

Thanks, it’s not cached as I mentioned before I cleared my cache, reset my browser, several times. But I will get a CDN up and that’ll fix it. Thanks again.
Thanks to you both. I didn’t look into that before, but just did and it’s a great idea. I’ll go with cloudflare. My host offers service from them.
Thanks, but you see, I hosted another site on the same host with the same plan and his loads instantly under the same settings.
http://fdfcontractors.comOctober 16, 2013 at 11:07 pm in reply to: Set Cart Widget and Cart Widget Dropdown to highest z-index #176699Thanks! I used Web Inspector to find the element, but I was incorrectly added the wrong element.
So then the code I posted in functions.php is unnecessary and all we need is the page-disqus.php file? I noticed the plugin was disabled. So that was also unnecessary as well?
Either way, it works and I’m loving’ it!
Thanks man!
Awesome, thanks. I have to go over the code to learn why this works and why what I was doing wasn’t working.
It’s great!
Can you please let me know what you do so I can learn from it? Thanks for all your help.
