Hi Victoria,
thankyou but that wasn’t my purpose actually.I just wanted to submit an issue to developer’s team and get an idea of why it is like that.
Have a great day

November 21, 2018 at 4:24 pm in reply to: Featured image slider, The Events Calendar and custom post type support #1036149Hi,
I did some more tests and i found out that “post slider” is also affected by this strange behaviour.
I also ‘The Events Calendar’ updated to latest version (4.6.26), but no joy.Alessio
November 11, 2018 at 10:54 pm in reply to: Featured image slider, The Events Calendar and custom post type support #1032367Hi Mike,
I surely will! Take all the time you need to investigate.
Enfold is definitely one of the best themes out there and I’m happy to help improve it.Alessio

thankyou!Hi,
it looks that the problem has gone away! That’s very strange indeed.I’ll keep the website monitored to see if it appens again.
Sorry for wasting your time.Alessio
Hi,
I updated Enfold from 4.0.2 to 4.0.7 and that solved the problem.
Now it works.Thank you
Hi,
I know I need to add a custom summary in the Excerpt meta box but as I wrote before this is a clean Enfold demo.
The demo comes with custom summary in the Excerpt already added for all posts, so I don’t need to insert it.
It just doesn’t show up.March 28, 2017 at 11:49 am in reply to: No post title in single posts page when post is edited using ALB #768058Hi,
it was a CSS problem.
Now it works, thanks a lot!
AlessioMarch 24, 2017 at 1:13 pm in reply to: No post title in single posts page when post is edited using ALB #766123I Rikard,
saving the post while the default editor is active doesn’t work at all, because default editor is empty if I use ALB to create post content. Moreover when using the ALB in a page then title will be visible, unless I disable title visualization from layout panel.
So I have full control over title in pages even if I use ALB.
When using the ALB in a post instead title will NOT be visible even if I enable title visualization from layout panel
This means I have no control over title in posts if I use ALB.I wonder why is there such a difference between posts and pages behaviour and why layout panel doesn’t work in posts the way it works in pages.
So I ask again: is there a workaround to display the post title automatically in single posts edited using ALB as it appens in pages?
I mean is there a code snipplet I can add to functions, or any other trick to modify post behaviour to get the title to show up when using ALB?Hope I’ve been clear enough.
Thanks
AlessioMarch 21, 2017 at 3:37 pm in reply to: Switch betweeen Advanced Layout Builder and standar editor in custom post types #764234Hi John,
I don’t know how it is possible but it seems the problem has solved.
Sorry for wasting your time.Have a great day!
AlessioYes it happens when you switch between main and child theme, and back.
Best practice is to activate a child theme before starting your customization.Anyway here is a workaround:
Activate main theme, export theme settings, reactivate child theme and import theme settings there.
Your child theme will look like the main theme.- This reply was modified 8 years, 5 months ago by aledef.
Yes GBDesign,
I always use a child theme in case I have to customize something ;)- This reply was modified 8 years, 5 months ago by aledef.
Hi,
Yigit solution worked fo me.I’ve created an API Key and added code to functions.php in my child theme and now the problem is solved!
Please note: in my case it didn’t work immediatly!
I had to wait 15 min. for it to work, I guess it was due to google API key activation delay.Hi,
I made some test and realized that the issue was due to a custom plugin.
Sorry for the inconvenienceAlessio
March 21, 2014 at 8:34 pm in reply to: WPML language switcher duplicated after updating to 2.6.2 #241355Hi Jorge,
try this:
– Go to Wp admin panel and verify it is seet to your main language from Wp topbar dropdown menu, if it is not, switch it to main lang
– Go to WPML -> Languages
– Check the box and select your option in the “Display the language switcher in the WP Menu” dropdown menu
– Save
– Switch it to a different language from the Wp topbar dropdown menu
– Check the box and select your option in the “Display the language switcher in the WP Menu” dropdown menu (now you should see translated menus in dropdown)
– SaveIt worked for me, no more duplicated flags!
There is still something not working properly in WPML admin panel, anyway.
If after following those steps you switch bak to your main lang
the “Display the language switcher in the WP Menu” dropdown will be unselected
because your last selection was in a different lang, wich is not available. Not easy to explain actually :) hope it is clear enough.

March 21, 2014 at 1:54 pm in reply to: WPML language switcher duplicated after updating to 2.6.2 #241155Hi,
deselecting the ” Display the language switcher in the WP Menu” works, but it’s just a workaround, infact it’s not the way WPML plugin is meant to work.I had the same problem and solved it disabling “MailChimp List Subscribe Form” plugin, please read here for futher infos: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-wpml-translated-categories-post-slider-not-working-properly/
Hope it can help!

March 21, 2014 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Enfold + WPML + Translated categories = Post slider not working properly #241132Hi Dude,
nice nick and valuable suggestions, thank you :)1) I found the problem at last!
It’s “MailChimp List Subscribe Form” plugin (v 1.4.1 at the moment) , developed by Mailchimp itself !!
Everithing works fine when it’s inactive but I still need it to manage my subsciption forms so I guess I’ll have to find a workaround2) It works
Thank you and have a nice day!
