Great, thanks Günter!
I opened a new thread as suggested by Rikard.
Similar issue on fresh install with no plugins active.
In my case sidebar shows anywhere pages, archives, and categories.
Issue goes away by downgrading to 4.9February 22, 2022 at 7:10 pm in reply to: Sidebar not showing up on WooCommerce category page #1341829Hi,
I eventually figured out what was causing this issue.
It is not due to a plugin or by a custom modification on my installation.“Sidebar Settings” dropdown was set to “No sidebar” in the default WooCommerce Shop page.
That’s all. This setting affects Shop page and product categories.
Changing it to “Default sidebars” solved the issue. It is actually quite a powerful setting, and can be very useful… unless you forget it :)

thank you for this workaround. Will this code be added to next versions of Enfold or should I add it each time Enfold is updated?

AlessioDecember 13, 2020 at 7:45 pm in reply to: Equal height columns break layout in "The events calendar" events #1266925Hi Ismael,
I was using avf_builder_boxes instead of avf_alb_supported_post_types and that was causing the issue!
Now everithing works fine, thank you!!I have two more questions:
1. What is avf_builder_boxes for by the way? Is it deprecated?
2. Are these two ines of code below still needed to add ALB elements support for custom post types taxonomies?
add_theme_support('avia_template_builder_custom_post_type_grid'); add_theme_support('add_avia_builder_post_type_option');
Have a nice day!

December 8, 2020 at 3:32 pm in reply to: Equal height columns break layout in "The events calendar" events #1265772Hi Ismael,
I unlocked the site so now I’ll be able to see it.Please note:
I have created another custom post type, applyed same ALB template to it, and I have the same issue there (see private content for URL).
No issues with pages and posts, so it looks like it’s something related to custom post types.Have a nice day

AlessioMarch 4, 2020 at 10:53 am in reply to: Fixed background issue on Firefox and Safari for mobile #1189988Hi Ismael,
thankyou for the answer. The issue actually affects sections with fixed background, not parallax.
I edited this post to correct it.Here is the correct eplanation of the issue:
Fixed background for sections’s bg image does not work on some mobile browsers.
In some cases BG is not fixed, in other cases sections have no bg.
I’ve been able to reproduce the issue on:
Firefox 68.5.0 for Android, Firefox 21.0 for iOS and at least some versions of Safari for iOS.
It works fine on Chrome mobile browsers. You can test on you own demo, here:
Have a nice day

Hi Ismael,
It looks like updating the post via wp_update_post does’t recreate the shortcode tree.I solved the problem building the shortcode tree during the post creation.
Thank you!
AlessioThankyou,
anyway that is not what I was asking.I was asking to consider removing that CSS line in next Enfold versions.
Can you forward my request to developers team?
ThankyouMarch 21, 2019 at 1:15 pm in reply to: Force Enfold to show all search results even if search query is empty #1081370Hi,
I guess I’ll have to modify search.php in child theme then.March 20, 2019 at 11:56 am in reply to: Force Enfold to show all search results even if search query is empty #1080780Hi Ismael,
if you do search for an empty search query ( ?s= ) when Enfold is actvive then you get no results and a page whose title is: “To search the site please enter a valid term”. Please see here:
https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/?s=If you do the same when a default theme ( Twenty nineteeen, Twenty Seventeen, Twenty Sixteen, etc.. ) is active then you get all results, which is default WP behaviuor. I tryed this on a test website with Wp up to date and no other plugin active.
It looks like Enfold actually alters the default search functionality.

AlessioNovember 30, 2018 at 4:37 pm in reply to: Some image sizes are not available in all contexts #1039370Hi Victoria,
thankyou, but it’s nothing that can be done via CSS.I’m currently implementing a website using an higly customized child theme.
I’ve already iplemented custom CSS, custom functionalities, custom shortcodes and some custom ALB elements that suit my client’s needs.I’m now tryng to figure out how many image sizes I will need, and wether I’ll need custom image sizes too.
That’s why I noticed that Enfold creates image sizes that are not available in all contexts.I’m an Enfold enthusiast and i’m just tryng to help improve it’s functionalities ;)
Best regards,
AlessioNovember 29, 2018 at 1:16 pm in reply to: Some image sizes are not available in all contexts #1038928Hi,
I see no risk of breaking the design in making all image sizes available at list for ALB “image” element and TinyMCE editor (“Add media” button). Please consider that risk is limited only to some ALB elements, while others could benefit from having all image sizes available.
Best regards,
Alessio -
