The area that the red arrow is pointing to.

I have only been able to remove the logo itself not the header area.It seems to be when I enable the sticky header that this problem happens, so is there any way to enable the sticky header and remove the logo area all together?
I actually managed to fix it. it was my error. I found out that you have to actually place the layerslider widget into the page rather than a text box and typing in the bit of code to place the layerslider manually.
this is the live site currently with the black bar.
