Hi Vinay ~ I performed the upgrade and further investigation, but that did not solve the problem. I now think this is issue being caused by code which was added to my theme functions file awhile back. This was added to get rid of the yellow labels that were showing up on hover over each photo on the site. Code was found in your support forum. Bottom line: Is there a way to remove the yellow labels without losing the lightbox captions? thanks so much for your wonderful help! Jen
Okay, will do! Yes, that lower left corner caption is exactly what we want. Glad you are adding the feature to the them update. Still *thought* I had seen the feature working previously, so am still a bit confused. Will watch for 3.6 and a resolution. thanks for all your help. :-)
Hi vinay. thank for your suggestion, but no — switching to the parent theme did not fix the issue. Chris… no this has not been solved, sorry.

Yigit, I just ran a test with this code – it works perfectly! Thank you so much!
sorry. am not clear on what you are asking me to do.
Hi Andy. Thank you for your suggestion. Again, Yes. I have filled in ALL of the fields. I filled in the “Title”, “Caption”, “Alt Text” & “Descriptions” fields for each photo via the Media library – for each of the photos in question. I filled in the gallery captions as well. Still, no caption appears in the lightbox. Is this feature available in Enfold?? Please advise. thanks.
Have tried filling in every one of the fields: Title; Caption; Alt text; and Description. Still No captions appear in the lightbox view. There is only the ##/## in the bottom right. If it cannot be done, that’s fine, just let me know and i will stop bothering you with this same question. thanks for your help.
Thanks Andy. I was not able to access the cache plug in settings in order to deactivate. There was an outdated PHP APC extension issue with that plug in. So, I deleted the plug-in altogether. Cleared browser cache a few times. Still no captions in the lightbox view. All i see is the photo number “#/##” in the bottom right corner. Where would my caption appear normally, if this were working correctly? Do you have a link or example you could share? appreciatively.
Hi Andy, Yes this part is working just fine, as pictured. Please tap a second time on any image for the lightbox to appear. you will see then that the original caption remains, even when you arrow to the next photos. The result is that you now see a new image with the first/incorrect caption. Hope that makes sense. thank you for helping.
have filled in all of the fields. there is no caption shown when viewed in the lightbox. Not on desktop nor in mobile. It is my understanding that a caption should be displayed. Is that correct? If not, then I understand. If so, then can you help me with a fix? Here is an example page below showing the issue. thanks very much for your continued support.
See below. Thanks.
yes i have tried both.
Hi Ismael. Yes, I have done this but still, it does not show a caption in the lightbox photo display. I have the caption and it appears in “hover” over the gallery. But when the lighbox is expanded there is no longer a caption. There is only the #/## photo number in the bottom right corner. please advise. thanks.
Hi Ismael, thanks for your help. The captions are in there, and I added this css — but it did not solve the issue. Do you have any other suggestions? thanks. much.
Thank you for your help Vinay, but this does not resolve the issue. any other suggestions? thanks.
Yes, the caption is there and it works on hover. but when the lightbox is opened there is no caption. suggestions? You can observe this issue by clicking on any of the galleries from the page below. thanks for your help.
Hi vinnie… wondering if you had a chance to look at this issue? seems to happen on all mobile browsers. thanks for your help.
phew. thanks.
link below. this is one but you can check any of the galleries. thanks.
Hi andy. Thanks for your help. I tried this but it does not work. I am not seeing any captions in the light box view. please advise. thanks.
What a wonderful solution! Works perfectly. Thank you so much. Jen
will do!
Thanks for your help. I did have the syntax correct. This had been working previously, with these addresses. However, I explored this issue further with my hosting company and learned that Cox mail is filtering out messages as spam when multiple addresses are included as recipients. I will need to contact Cox about this problem. Meanwhile, I am using non-cox email recipients in the form and it is working just fine. thanks again.
thanks!
Thank you. No that we are not getting a blue box with a square inside as pictured. I just a blank box. However, it is working now (again after a day or two). Did you make any adjustment or is there simply a delay before the icons show up? Thanks.
Hello Jordan, thank you for your help on this. below is the sign on info you requested. I look forward to hearing back from you. Jen
No I did not resolve the issue. But, it’s okay. I just put the layout back to full-width for now. I’ll get back to you with a link, if the issue comes up again. thanks for your help!
