    Hi Nikko,

    I thought the whole purpose of a child theme was to be able to make changes in it and keep the changes when a new parent theme became available. This child theme is quite customized and I did the work years ago. I cannot remember where all the changes are to recreate them.

    Please advise – I do not have the time or resources to lose the contents of the child theme and the look and feel of the site.

    Ouch!

    When I go to Appearance/Themes, The parent theme does not give me a message saying that I am below the optimum theme level.

    AND when I go to Enfold Child/Theme Update, it tells me I am at the latest option. Even when I click ‘Update Manually’

    Please advise.

    I can cancel this request – it is something to do with more than one site being poited at the domain. I need to sort that out.

    Hi Vinnie,

    I agree that it is necessary to be at 3.5.2 but in my original post I explained a problem I had getting there…

    1) I added my API and user id but it still said ‘Theme Updates – No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.4.7)’ even when I clicked manual updates
    2) I downloaded a new version from themeforest. Then I deleted the ‘parent’ Enfold and uploaded the new one instead.
    3) So if I go to Admin/Themes, the version there now says it is at 3.5.2

    What can do when
    – going to Appearance/Themes says I am at 3.5.2 but going to Enfold Child / Update theme says I am at 3.4.7?
    – clicking on manual update does noting

    I have a full width slider as a header on very page. It is not showing up.

    I have updated the theme … kind of

    4) I also added the Transient cleaner plugin.
    5) I temporarilly activated another theme and then came back to this one.

    Update – I followed your route to update the theme, updated it and all images are restore.

    Bonus – I now have it set to automated updates – Thanks!!!

    I have the same problem – as of today! It is a pre release site – here

    My home page slider stopped working and all my masonry galleries stopped. They are on the pages under Gallery, which should be showing photos, not just white space.

    I don’t think I changed anything recently. Except … within GoDaddy, I changed the domain to one that was meant to go live. Then I changed it back because the client did not have access to their domain for me to repoint it.

    First I tried switching to another theme and back to Enfold. Did not help

    Then I tried opening the affected pages in Admin, opening the sliders, editing a little and re-saving. Did not help.

    So I came here and decided to follow the advice above and install a new version of the theme. I do have a child theme, but when I click on the Enfold ‘Parent’ theme, to delete it in order to upload the new version, I do not have a red delete button.

    So … what next? I will attach my login details below.

    ps… I realized my original issue was actually cause by me using the Purchase code where I should have entered the API code. I am just posting that here in case anyone else looks at this thread.

    Thanks! This got me a long way but I still have a question.

    I did as you said, and my main Enfold theme is now at 3.4.7. But I am using a child theme which is still at 2.7 and I do not seem to have any of the new features I was looking for in the update.

    Thanks. I see the code that you added in the custom CSS and I see your screen capture, but the screen capture does not seem to be from our site. On our site, we still have the flat bar. Sigh!

    You are right, it is gone.

    Ha ha – we must have taken our screen captures and made our plans before downloading the latest version of the theme.

    Is there any chance you could give me a little piece of CSS to restore it please?The client really liked it. We already tried to do it ourselves but ended up with a non graceful triangle :-(
