All appears to be cleared now. I’m not certain what that was. It appeared in the system for several days. I cleared the cache and it resolved. It was very scary though. Really wish I understood what had happened in the first place, but all is well now.

Did you look on the backside? This is not appearing on the frontend, just the backend. And, yes, it is still happening.

I had found that fix awhile ago and placed it in the functions.php. That did not correct the issue. I also turned off all other plug-ins yesterday but the Events calendar and the Enfold theme. The issue is still there.
Were you able to login and look at the code in the functions.php file?

Thank you for responding. I uploaded the beta version, but am not seeing a change. The magazine feature is still drawing events from furthest away to nearest and I don’t see any options for changing this.
Any next steps?

Thank you, newlyswissed. I downgraded my version of the Events Calendar Pro and I am no longer experiencing this issue. There is a bug somewhere between this theme and that plug-in.

I removed that code from the functions.php file. However, all this did was remove that feature from my blog post element and kept the same order (i.e. ordering from oldest to newest).
Can someone help me in a more dedicated manner? I’ve had this issue and tried every fix since December 20. It’s very frustrating and we have a huge event coming up this weekend.

No, I am not, Ismael. Have you or the other moderators looked at my site from the front and back end? I’m very certain I’ve followed all of the recommended fixes and nothing is working. I’m at a loss as to how to correct this.
I agree with both of these post participants. I’ve added the code that should allow for posting by date, but it is not solving the problem. It sounds like the quickest fix right now may be to revert to an older version of the Events calendar?
I have yet to receive any fix for this issue. It’s been two weeks since I posted and I’ve done every suggestion offered. Nothing is working.

I added the code to functions, and while it can see it and access it, it is not changing the issue I’m having. I only have plug-ins installed that were recommended/came with the Enfold theme. I also turned them on and off, but am not seeing the issue resolved there either.
Can you help further? This is a pretty significant issue for our website. I didn’t reach out again last week as notice was you were all on break. We’ve had this issue since December 20 and would love it cleared up asap.
Please let me know if there are additional credentials you need from me.

My challenge is that we have well-formatted pages operating like a category landing pages. If I can’t shut off this feature (which would be okay with me and my users as there are a myriad of ways to get to a ‘category’ aka research area page), how do I get category pages to be formatted?

Thanks, Yigit. Looks like that worked and I have the latest version. But, that didn’t clear up the issue I’m having with the Avia Template feature. When I attempt to load a template, I get a messages saying it can’t be done. Can you help with this?
