Ismael, thank you so much! I’m not familiar with child theme but will read the information you provided and start there.
Thank you again!April 10, 2024 at 8:43 pm in reply to: Background gradient and progress bars – acting wonky #1439689No luck. I had no Cache plug installed. I installed one but couldn’t get anything to fix the issue.
Thank you for the information. Checking under Performance, I see that CSS File merging And Compression is currently set to Disable – No CSS file merging and Compression. Should I set this to Enable?
Sorry I’m not familiar with this setting.Please excuse my ignorance. My question is regarding the license. is relating to the fact that I continue to pay $33 each month, have never stopped for years. So would I not be getting support?
Sorry I am having trouble understanding this.
Thank you for any information.Please close this topic, I found a work-around.
No further help needed. Feel free to close the topic. Thanks!
Thank you so much, I didn’t think of doing a basic text block instead of tables. I guess I was overthinking it ha ha.
Thanks again.This reply has been marked as private.I am attaching 2 links, one that is my draft page and the other is the page that I am using as reference. The tables that I am building are on the right column. As you can see, table properties are stuck on the Enfold seetings and cannot be overwritten. Also, rowspan no longer works, maybe this command is no longer supported these days?
Perhaps you have a better suggestion on how to do this instead of using code blocks?
I tried using the WordPress Magazine and Catalog content elements but I could not achieve the same style that I am trying to accomplish. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.Thank you!
Oops sorry, yes I fixed that after pasting into the forum posting. I was able to control (via css) the color section, but unfortunately I cannot control the boarders on my table which resides in a cell within the color section.
Sorry I wasn’t clear in my original posting.I created a custom ID (“Portfolio-style”) and applied the following rules to the Quick CSS
.Portfolio-style
{
padding: 0px 0px;
border-bottom: 1px solid #00678f;
border-bottom-color: #00678f;
border-top: 1px solid;
border-top-color: #00678f;
border-left: none;
border-right: none;
background-color: Red;
}Unfortunately no changes occurred. I tried clearing cache but I’m still stuck with the original styling.
August 5, 2021 at 5:49 am in reply to: cells no longer outlined in Ninja forms after Enfold update #1314570Wow! that did the trick, I can also see the outlined cells in the accordion form. Thank you so so much!!
August 3, 2021 at 6:24 pm in reply to: cells no longer outlined in Ninja forms after Enfold update #1314207Yes, your screenshot looks perfect, I just can’t see it on any computer or phone, even after dumping cache and restarting. Hmmm.
August 2, 2021 at 8:43 pm in reply to: cells no longer outlined in Ninja forms after Enfold update #1313993Thanks for getting back to me.
I inserted the css, but no change. I tried viewing from a few different computers but get the same results. Everything started running perfectly a few days ago. I suspect the web host made some changes on their end. If this problem arises again I will just change web hosts. Thank you for the help, hopefully everything will continue to run smooth now!
February 27, 2019 at 2:21 am in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1072116This is just awful!
I need to change padding on a section of each page, but this one section of EVERY page must be changed at least twice before Enfold saves the change. In other words, I make the change and save, then go back and the change is not there. I have to make the change at least twice every single time.
This problem and the problem of Internal Server Error 500 is making it impossible to get anything done.
Any ideas?February 26, 2019 at 9:37 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1071998STILL having the same issue!
I get error 500 internal server error when editing pages. This happens about 50% of the time.
Also, I am now noticing that Enfold is failing to save basic changes, I have to make some changes a couple times before Enfold saves the changes.
Please advise.February 25, 2019 at 6:53 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1071408Hi everyone, just a quick update. Dreamhost finally moved us to a different server. The result is still the same unfortunately. When I open any pages to edit I usually get an error 500 internal server error. At this point i am unsure uf changing webhosts will fix the issue or if there is something wrong with Enfold. :(
February 8, 2019 at 10:30 am in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1064509Thank you for replying.
After deactivating all plugins there was no change
After switching to default theme the backend loaded much faster BUT after about a minute I was getting “page failed to update”.
I really think the web host is at fault, this happened before and after much complaining they eventually move us to a new server. The host is Dreamhost, they used to be really good, used to.I do have one important point to make. We have 2 websites under this one hosting account, both have enfold themes. The 2nd website has never had a problem which is weird.
My next course of action is to remove the 2nd website and migrate to another hist that I just set up. Once that website migration is complete I’m curious how our main website will behave. I will keep you posted.

February 7, 2019 at 7:44 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1064274I should also state that, after deactivating all plug-ins, the back-end still failed to load any pages for me to edit.
Once I switched to default theme, I could edit each page without any loading issues.Unfortunately, the website looks like trash now since it is showing css stuff on the front end :(
So now this could show there is an issue with Enfold theme, or, that the host server is not performing to expectations.
February 7, 2019 at 7:39 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1064266I deactivated all plug-ins and switched to default theme. The website is now showing a bunch css scripts on the front end???
February 5, 2019 at 6:43 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1063241First, the host said it was a DNS issue. I then explained the difference between DNS error and Internal Server Error.
Then, the host said it was an IP address that is causing too much traffic. This IP address was me trying to load a page.
Since the host could not think of any other excuses, then blamed Enfold and a chat plug-in. I deactivated the chat plug-in 3 days ago but nothing changed.On the backend (WordPress control panel), the website fails to load about 80 percent of the time.
Below is a list of every plug-in that is installed;
– Duplicate Post
– Icegram
– Image Widget
– Pricing Table by Supsystic
– Relevanssi
– Screets Live Chat (Deactivated)
– Table Maker
– Update Themes & Plugins from Zip File
– Updraft Backup
– WP Super Cache
– WP Forms LiteFebruary 4, 2019 at 10:24 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1062876Web host keep blaming the theme (Enfold) for all the issues. I’m not sure how else to prove to these people that this is a host issue and not a theme generated error.
February 4, 2019 at 7:01 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1062790Sorry, it is slightly diff domain. If you check it you may or may not see any issues. The problem is that the page(s) load about 40-50% of the time. I almost always have to refresh the page.
February 1, 2019 at 9:46 pm in reply to: Internal Server Error or Enfold? – Webhost blame game #1061722Just checking in to see if anyone had an idea on this issue.
Thanks!Never mind. It was a syntax error. Fixed now.
I should add that I am unable to restore back-up from the Dashboard since I am unable to access the dashboard (HTTP 500 error).
Any thoughts?
ARG!! Now that the widet is in place I tried to add the search bar.
I meant to add the following to header.php, but accidentally added to functions.php. Now the site shows HTTP error 500.<form method=”get” id=”searchform” action=”<?php bloginfo(‘home’); ?>/”>
<div><input type=”text” size=”18″ value=”<?php echo wp_specialchars($s, 1); ?>” name=”s” id=”s” />
<input type=”submit” id=”searchsubmit” value=”Search” class=”btn” />
</div>
</form>I have since removed this code but site still non-functional. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t see your reply.
Right now I have only White text in the widget so it is hidden unless you CTRL+A to see it.
I am trying to get this widget in the center of the page (to the right of the logo).
Any suggestions?Thank you!
