Yes, will do and will keep you posted. Thanks.
Thank you so much! Info below.
November 3, 2016 at 2:30 am in reply to: Blog page not displaying thumbnail images correctly #707467Thank you! That’s somewhat improved, but that green box still shows up when I hover over those images. Also, the images are still not filling the squares, and are a variety of sizes. Can you help position those pics properly within the square frame? Thank you!
Thank you! This works perfectly on all pages, but not on the blog or event pages. Any thoughts on how to do this for those pages?
October 31, 2016 at 10:20 pm in reply to: Add short separator between blog posts on main blog page #706496Forgot to add my website link!
Thank you so much! I so appreciate your super fast help :)
Absolutely! And thanks for the quick response – so helpful!
Thanks Nikko! Because I want my content area to stay white, with my background image only showing on either side of the content area, I adjusted the code you provided (deleted the last section). Works great.
My next question is: How can I apply one page background to a parent menu item and all it’s children without having to code each one separately? Because child pages will be added and deleted with frequency this is important. Super appreciate your help!
No, it’s not sorted. This code doesn’t work :( If you follow the link to my site you’ll see that there’s no background image, just white space. Can you help?
Realized it might be helpful if I list the code I’m using. Here’s the code for the homepage:
.page-id-5 .bg_container { background-image: url("mylinkhere"); } .bg_container { background-attachment: fixed; background-clip: border-box; background-color: #ffffff; background-origin: padding-box; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: cover; }
Thank you. Sorry for the pause. What is ALB?
Sorry if my post was unclear. All I want to do is to add the same styling ( a turquoise full width bar that’s 25 pixels wide) to the top of my individual blog posts as I have added to each other page on my website. Screenshot attached. On all pages, I’ve added this design element using a color section. Can you tell me how to add this element to individual blog posts?
That didn’t work. It removed both the blog post and the sidebar from the single post view, while leaving the image intact. I’ve removed the image from header.php so it no longer displays but I still can’t figure out how to add the color section via header.php – can you tell me which code to use to add full width bar 25 pixels high and this color: #63a6aa
Thank you!
perfect, thanks! You can mark this as solved.
Hi Rikard,
I’d like to make the top color section on each page thinner (25px). Thanks!
That worked, thank you! I had some code to try to make the color section at the top of each page narrower, and it was causing problems. Will start a new thread with that question.

I tried it, but it doesn’t fix the whole issue. The text that should be below the images is still overlaying the images. Also, this fix does not work for smaller screen sizes; the content still gets cut off. Something bigger seems to be the issue here, and I’d like to see a fix that really works for this responsive theme. Other ideas? Thanks so much in advance.
The content placed inside the color section gets cut off – circular images are cut off, text that should be below them is overlaid. Screenshot attached.screenshot
I forgot to mention that you must log in to see in-process the front page. I’m running a “coming soon” plugin that masks the website, showing only a splash page. Thanks!
Hello,
I’ve restored my production site to the backup I took before the upgrate to WP 4.5, as this is our busiest time of year and I didn’t want potential customers seeing the broken site. See the new info below to access the staging site, which is still broken as described above.
February 1, 2016 at 1:25 am in reply to: Round featured image for main blog page & for individual blog posts #575465Thanks Basilis. The problem is that I updated the child theme and it didn’t work. The images are not circles, but large pills :( Could take a look at the links below and let me know what I can do to fix it? Thank you. As a reminder, you need to log in with the credentials I previously supplied in order to see these pages.
January 26, 2016 at 9:49 pm in reply to: Round featured image for main blog page & for individual blog posts #572390Thanks Yigit! I followed your steps, and the images are showing up elongated, not perfectly rounded. Because I’m using a child theme, I had to add that line of code to functions.php – could this be the problem? I’d like to avoid wiping it out when I update the theme, so any fix that can keep this code in the child theme’s function.php would be appreciated.

Thanks! Worked perfectly. You can mark this as resolved.
January 14, 2016 at 3:17 am in reply to: Icon Box Titles disappear when I enable "link title" #565151Thank you so much! That did it :)
You can mark this as solved.
I haven’t been able to reproduce her error either. She shared her screen with me and we tried it again, and everything worked perfectly. I’m chalking this up to user error. You can mark this as solved.
Absolutely & thanks!
Thanks, that worked. I’ve had so much trouble with this! Just one more thing: the yelp icon is now visible and the icon itself changes color when I hover, but I’d like to icon to remain grey and for the background to change color as with the other icons. What’s the best way to achieve this?
She swears that there is no “insert into page” button visible. I’ve told her where it should be and she says it simply isn’t there! I’ve even sent screen shots with an arrow pointing to where it should be but she says it not not visible when she logs in. Any ideas?
