Hi,
thanks for the theme. I just have one big problem. I’ve read some in this forum, but couldn’t get a satisfying answer or solution. If i or my customer sets line-breaks then the text editor deletes them. But i need an WYSIWYG-Editor where all line breaks are really there. Other workarounds with inconvenient whitespaces doesn’t get my customer. Where can i turn off your wpautop. </br> tags aren’t a possible way for us either. Or do you see another solution?
Best regards,

Are you doing it in the text mode?
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Please point us to the element and the page where it is not working.

VictoriaAugust 22, 2018 at 12:51 pm #1000281Hi Victoria,
i tried everything and would like to do it in the visual mode, because my customer isn’t that internet-afin :) I need an easy-to-do-solution and not anything with tags or whitespaces. Of course you can take a look on it. Just look “Hello World”, the first Post for example and then the text blocks.
Thanks a lot and with best regards,

You should be running at least php5.6.3 for the code to work properly. Please consider upgrading your php version.
Where do you need breaks? In which element on which page?

VictoriaAugust 23, 2018 at 2:43 pm #1000755Hi Victoria,
the server is for several customer needs and runs another older projects, thats the reason for an older php version, but it’s nothing which interferes whith this plugin. I’m working with an lokal Server and that is up to date.
Please enter just behind the HIER line 2 break-lines with enter. Thats what i need, a WYSIWYG-Editor. :)
Thanks a lot.
Best regards

August 23, 2018 at 4:36 pm #1000823Hi André,
Something like
.extra-space { margin-bottom: 20px; }

VictoriaAugust 23, 2018 at 4:46 pm #1000833Hi Victoria,
thats not a satisfiying solution. Add two </br> tags is much easier for my client then, than css styling and add extra span tags. So it isn’t possible to delete the auto delete function there or doing it in another way?

AndréAugust 23, 2018 at 5:50 pm #1000854Hi hello_IT,
Adding the tags will make it impossible to adjust the elements on tablet and mobile. So my solution is cleaner and more flexible.

VictoriaAugust 23, 2018 at 6:05 pm #1000868Hi Victoria,
but it’s laborius. Both ways! All i want is to enter breaklines with typing my enter key, like in the normal WP-Standard-Editor.

If you press enter the empty p tags will be added and so you get pretty much the same effect.

AndréAugust 24, 2018 at 1:59 pm #1001228Hi hello_IT,
Add two empty p tags. Have you tried adding the
<br>
like this, not like you were adding
</br>

VictoriaAugust 27, 2018 at 12:02 pm #1002229Sorry but are you kidding me? Did you read my posts before? My client isn’t able to do such things like adding br-tags in an text view. I need a working WYSIWYG-Editor. Your Editor is deleting all my Enter-Tags. Is it possible to turn off your wpautop or do you see another “userfriendly” way.
Sincerely,
AndréAugust 27, 2018 at 4:10 pm #1002336Hi André,
This is the way the text editor works at the moment if it’s too complex for your client, your client can hire someone to build pages for him. I gave you a few suggestions, I’m out of those.

VictoriaAugust 28, 2018 at 3:26 pm #1002722Hi Victoria,
