Is there a way to use the navigation dots for a particular easy slider instance outside of the slider itself? I’m thinking there’s gotta be a way to do this, perhaps with a little javascript or a special coded link?
I have a text block that I would like to add the slider navigation dots to, but I want the slider itself to exist within a different area on the site.
I tried adding the following code within the text block and I can see the dots, but they don’t work. FYI I have two easy sliders on the page and only want to use this for one of them. I’ve already added a custom class to that slider (the one I want to use the navigation dots for). Let’s call it .custom-slider
<div class="avia-slideshow-dots avia-slideshow-controls">
<a href="#1" class="goto-slide active">1</a>
<a href="#2" class="goto-slide">2</a>
</div>
Hey G,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,
Basilis
