Hello, I’m trying to change the theme but when I do the new theme presents lines of code within individual posts like those I show in the screenshot.
I think the reason is that I have built the pages and posts with Avia Edotir layout and the new theme does not recognize these settings.
How can I make an error-free migration?
Thank you!

Hey topolina,
That is not possible since the content generated by the Layout Builder is in shortcode. You will unfortunately have to transfer your content to the new theme manually.

But isn’t applicable! I have dozens of articles and pages, how can I copy and paste all the text, images, buttons and more?
That’s a very big problem that users have to know in case of future migrations.
It is your responsibility to warn users that the operation is not reversible!
Hi,
Please try the Shortcode Cleaner Lite plugin, it will remove all of the Enfold shortcodes from the frontend so you can migrate to a different theme.
I tested this on my localhost by activating one of the WordPress themes (Twentyfifteen), using the free lite version of the plugin.
If you activate the pro version, it will also remove the shortcodes from the backend, but I didn’t test this as you must pay for the pro version.
Please read this article about the plugin.
Best regards,
Mike
