I am new to this and cannot figure out how to add and properly organize more than one customization option to a single product. We offer a WIDE range of customization options but they are not all compatible with each other, we sell a basic customization package with 12 different optic options, that is set up the way I want it right now. However, I need to be able to include up charges for varying color combinations.
For instance: Cut package | choose one of 12 Optic cut options | choose single color finish from up to 150 different colors. OR choose 3 of the 150 colors to go in certain patterns like for instance a digital camo pattern or american flag pattern or multicam pattern or Kryptek pattern etc… Most of or customers don’t need to see a list of 150 colors but the ability to have them enter the text for the colors they want and/or a description would be awesome. OR choose a color theme to replicate a Super Hero, Americana, Military insignia, law enforcement insignia etc… you get it.
However, I am having trouble adding on the attributes and keeping them separate from each other as individual customization options and I cannot have a huge list of 10,000+ combinations that they have to weed through. I want them to be able to select from something like the following menu:
Optic Cut – 12 options with 2 base prices (with and without optic)
Single Color finish – single upcharge -$65
3 color finish – Single upcharge – $85
Theme finish – Single upcharge -$100
I need customers to be able to choose any base package and then choose from one of the three basic finish packages that add the corresponding up charges to the cart. Also if there is a way that when they select 3 color finish or theme finish they could type in something like: Digital Camo with Flat Dark Earth, OD GReen, and Field Drab colors.
If anyone reading this knows how to do this and wants to get paid to do it along with a host of other items google Culper Precision and fill out the contact form ATTN Brandon haha but seriously… I’ll pay you to do this and allot of other optimizations on the site.August 15, 2018 at 2:18 pm #997550Hey BraveResponse,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,
