    Hello,

We must now associate a billing account for the googgle map to work, which API services must be enabled?

    Thanks !

    Hey lelef,

    Thank you for using Enfold.

The required APIs should be automatically enabled if you follow the tutorial from the documentation.

    // https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/google-map/#how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key

If you’ve already created a project, make sure that the Dynamic or Javascript API and the Geocoding Services API are enabled. There are more info on the documentation.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello,

I want to customize a google map html with Snazzy map, or do you have to paste the code generated by Snazzy?

    Thanks,

    Lelef

    Hey!

I’m not familiar with Snazzy but you’ll probably get an iframe code from Snazzy. You can use the “Code Block” element to embed the map into your advanced layout. If you’re using a standard post/page (without the Advanced Layout editor) please switch to the “Text” editor and paste your code into the editor field.

    Regards,
    Peter

    Hey!

OK after reading the details here: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/snazzy-maps/ I’m not sure if Snazzy Maps is compatible with our map element. If not you can try to install a third party plugin which is compatible with Snazzy Maps.

    Regards,
    Peter

Do you have to set up billing in order for google map to work? Or is there a way to set up without it? Or can you suggest an alternative without creating a billing account?

    Hi James,

Yes, it has to be enabled. That is the way the API is going to work now, it is not up to us.

    Thanks !

I’m looking for a way to custumize my google html map without API, do you know if this is possible?

    #995791

    Hi lelef,

I don’t think that would be possible since the API is used when the map is fetched, if you don’t want to make a connection then I think the only option would be to screenshot the map and then use it as a simple image, then link to the actual map if you want to give the user the option to move around in it.

    Best regards,
