Hi, I’ve added 2 new fonts via the plugin Use any font and I’ve watched the tutorials on how to use them but they wont implement. I’ve found them on the drop down list in advanced styling but nothing happens. Do you have any suggestion as to why?

Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?
Which fonts have you added?

VictoriaJuly 21, 2018 at 8:46 am #988136Hi Victoria, Please can you try the new login I’ve supplied. I’ve added Luthier and IM Fell English. If you do get in with my login, could you please check the text box editor – it seems to have less buttons than I remember it should have.

July 22, 2018 at 10:56 am #988312Hi algkent,
I can see the fonts in the drop-down in the Advanced Styling tab at the bottom, do you not see them or cannot assign?

No, I don’t see fonts in the Advanced styling tab.
July 23, 2018 at 7:03 am #988592Hi, I can also see them in the drop down list. They are the two at the bottom. The problem I have is that when I assign them to a section e.g. H1, H3 and then use that element in the text boxes, I’m not seeing the font. Its not being implemented. Are you able to see why?
Many thanks,

Can you show us the page where the fonts are not applied? They can have some classes that give different styles for them.

VictoriaJuly 23, 2018 at 10:30 pm #988950Hi Victoria,
The two fonts I’ve uploaded are the ones used in my logo design. I’ve tried assigning the font for the 2nd line of text in the logo to the menu font and also to my H2 tag. I’ve assigned the other font HARRIETS TABLE to my H1 tag but they aren’t appearing. How do I change the paragraph font as this doesn’t seem to be in the list in advanced styling?
Also, if you go into my home page and click on the text box, there doesn’t seem to be many buttons in the text box. If I highlight text, I have no way of knowing whether is H1, H2 etc. I’m sure all this data used to be present when I’ve used Enfold in the past. It seems much harder to use than in the past and I’m not sure why. I would really like to be able to implement these fonts as I’ve got them in my brand logo.
When you say there are different classes per font, how do I get to see them to select the one I want? I’ve seen tutorials on people implementing imported fonts in WordPress but their screens look different to what I’m seeing in Enfold.
Any tutorials/videos would be appreciated or if you can see the difficulty I’m having by going into my text box editor. Many thanks,
Ellen
July 26, 2018 at 11:12 am #990182Hi,
You can only upload fonts from Google. If you have other custom font, load it using the @fontface rule.
You can upload your custom Font zip files. Intended for Google Webkit Fonts.
Make sure to delete any fonts that you are not using, to keep the loading time for your visitors low// https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_font-face_rule.asp
