Hello,
My side has an easy slider at the top of the home page. There is also a background image set for every place on the page. In the footer, the background image does not show if, and only if, the easy slider is on the page and has an image – any image – in it.The background image works in the footer on all other pages on the site, which do not have an easy slider on them.
I have tried different images, different settings, everything I can think of.
This only shows in the Chrome browser.
Could there be a javascript issue? Something else?
Help?
Thank you,

I’m not sure I understood what the issue is. I see no JavaScript errors.
Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?
Best regards,
VictoriaJuly 21, 2018 at 5:58 pm #988180Hello Victoria,
Here is the issue – toward the footer. If the slider is in the upper left, the footer ends up not showing the background image. If I take the slider out, it no longer has this error. If I put the slider in and do not add any photos, then the background image shows. If I add any picture from any source, the background image in the footer no longer shows.
Thanks,
NicoleOh wait – How do I upload the screen shots? Not seeing a way to do this…
July 21, 2018 at 7:28 pm #988191Hi again Victoria,
I uploaded pics to the server. Here is the page showing the error: https://newmediatv.org/wp-content/uploads/Screen-Shot-2018-07-21-at-10.52.35-AM.png
Here is how it looks when I remove the slider: https://newmediatv.org/wp-content/uploads/Screen-Shot-2018-07-21-at-10.54.42-AM.png
I tried to manually update the layer slider plugin but got lost in the process of finding keys and numbers and it did not work.

July 22, 2018 at 12:54 am #988253Hi,
I took a look at your page and found this only occurs with Chrome, and that adding a z-index to the slider seems to solve.
Please try this code in the General Styling > Quick CSS field:#top.home .avia-slideshow { z-index: 0 !important; }
Or add this css to the WordPress > Customize > Additional CSS
I wrote this to only work on your homepage, if you have other sliders with this issue please let us know.
If this doesn’t help, please include a admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.Best regards,
