Goal: Make current website responsive, but am using outdated unsupported Carona Theme From Kriesi

Is there a variation of your current themes that will allow for an easy transfer of data/light work load to go from Carona (which I bought and apparently is no longer supported) to a new theme?

    Hey Chris Digiovanni,

Thank you for using Corona for such a long time. We do appreciate your willingness to upgrade to a new theme from the same collection.

We would like to recommend Enfold because it is the most advanced theme to date and we are adding more improvements to it. It is a completely different theme compare to Corona so you may need to re-configure the site from scratch. However, you will see the advantage of using the theme as you go along. It has its own advance layout builder and new theme options such as the header options, performance booster and a lot more.

The documentation should help you go around with the theme’s basic features.

    These are the theme’s demo.

    Best regards,

Thanks Ismael. Any suggestions for exporting most data/imagery out of the current website and hopefully transfer a lot of details to the new website. Or do I have to start fresh pretty much (I assume different builder mechanisms in pages)

    Hi,

Yes, the builder is very different so you have to start from scratch. You won’t be able to use the template from Corona.

Are you going to transfer to a new domain? You don’t need to do any data transfer if you’re using the same domain.

If you do need to transfer, we usually recommend the WP Migrate plugin.

Here’s a detailed guide about site transfer using the default WordPress Importer.

IMPORTANT: Don’t forget to create a backup or a restore point just in case something goes wrong.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
