    Hi,
    I am so very frustrated. Every single time I try to update Enfold, the site disappears and I spend hours on the phone with GoDaddy who always tells me the same thing: it’s a problem with Enfold. I really need to update my site and several plugins. When I try to update Enfold, I get “briefly schedule for maintenance screen,” for a little while and then I get something that says “style sheet is missing.” On occasion there are also multiple errors about line 13 and events code.

    Can you please help me fix this once and for all? It’s eating up huge work time and upsetting clients. Thanks so much!

    I have this problem before when we hosted our website on Godaddy, but never happened again after we switched to another hosting company. What I did at that time was to use FTP to upload the files instead of on WordPress dashboard, because when you update on WP, there are some old files are not completely replaced or something like that, caused the site broken.

    Hi,

    Please try following:

    1) Connect via ftp to your server
    2) Go to wp-content/themes/ and rename enfold to enfold_bak
    3) Unzip the theme files you downloaded from themeforest and upload the folder “enfold” via ftp to wp-content/themes/
    4) Check if the website works. If yes, you can delete the folder wp-content/themes/enfold_bak, if not delete the folder enfold and rename enfold_bak to enfold.
