Hi!
We have created 3 portfolio items:
1) Work
2) Stories
3) Creatives
We created this so we can have 1 masonry at the home page with all three items in it without having to make more than 1 masonry.
Thing is: we really want to add who is the writer of one of the stories, just like you can do when it is a blog.
Is there a way we can get the profile of the writer under the header of the story?
Hope you can help!July 6, 2018 at 3:39 pm #982103Hey RandomCreatives,
Could you please give us a link to your website, we need more context to be able to help you.

Try adding the author to the excerpt field, it might be displayed there.

VictoriaJuly 19, 2018 at 8:32 pm #987618Oh yes. At the homepage I can see it!
Is it also possible on this page:
And somewhere on the page of the story itself?
hope you can help.
thanksJuly 21, 2018 at 8:15 pm #988204Hi RandomCreatives,
You need to set the masonry on the blog page to display the title and excerpt and the author will show.

VictoriaJuly 24, 2018 at 8:43 am #989061Ok. Thanks!
So that works for the masonry. What about te story/blog itself?
Can we show de author on that page as well?July 24, 2018 at 8:37 pm #989352Hi RandomCreatives,
You can choose a different blog style in the theme options, some of them show authors.

VictoriaJuly 26, 2018 at 11:29 am #990196Hi Victoria,
Thing is..
We placed the stories under portfolio items.
This way we could make 1 masonry (home page) where we could show all the portfolio items.
If we would make separate blogs they could not be shown in the same masonry as the portfolio items work and creatives. To be more specific:
on the home page we wanted 1 masonry with 3 items:
1) work
2) stories/blogs
3) creatives (people we work with, in our network)
For all 3 we also wanted separate pages as you can see in the menu. (creatives is not live yet)
For these three to combine in one masonry we saw the only option to create 2 portfolio items.
And that is why we are not using the blog function for the stories but the portfolio function. If they is a better way, maybe you can tell us?
If not, then I think it is not possible to show the author on the story page is there?Hope this is clear…and you can still help us out!
Kind regards,
Cristel
