Trying to install enfold for a client and everytime I install I get this error when trying out the site.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION, expecting ‘)’ in /home/ericfisc/public_html_fischtankpr.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/font-management/class-avia-font-management-base.php on line 429
July 3, 2018 at 1:46 pm #980559Hey esemmel,
Where exactly are you seeing that? How are you installing the theme and what version are you using?
Best regards,
RikardJuly 3, 2018 at 2:12 pm #980574Hi. I am seeing it right after the theme is installed and I Try to “preview” it or I make it, or the child theme active.
I am installing the theme using the installer and the enfold.zip file, also tries the therefore zip file. all had the same result, this error.
It is the latest version to download through themeforest.
Other themes work so it seems to only happen with enfold.

You are currently using an older version of PHP. Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to upgrade PHP version to minimum 5.6 and preferably to 7.x?
Cheers!
YigitJuly 4, 2018 at 12:21 pm #981122Thanks. Will do and let you know how it goes.
