I understand that most mobile devices can’t autoplay videos to prevent bandwidth problems for the user but, when we embed a live YouTube Stream such as the one at https://gorgeconnect.com/aquaium-cam it displays the youtube play button but when touched the video does not play. I’d really like to be able to do this on mobile without using LayerSlider to lighten the page load.

Note: this works perfectly on desktop/laptop systems.

Any ideas on how to fix this would be nice.

    Thanks,

    Stephen

    Hey Stephen,

I get a 404 error on the URL you posted, could you check and post the correct link please?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for that, so the video background is set to autoplay in the Color Section? If so I think you will need to display the regular video element on mobile in order for it to play on mobile as well. You can set the Color Section not to show for mobile devices in the Screen Options tab, then add a regular Video element and hide that for desktops in the same Screen Options tab.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
