    Hi Kriesi Team,
    I have a big request !!!
We serve many customers with a large assortment. We are working mostly in the B2B business and our customers want to show their assortment completely, but they do not want to sell via the website.
We have already created some websites with Enfold and have shown the products through the portfolio. But now we are getting more and more customers, who have a much larger assortment.
We have already modified and programmed the code for further filtering. Until the last update, everything worked fine (attached the link of a development instance). In this case you can choose a plant variety, then “when it blooms” (late / middle / early) and finally the color. The display shows the search criteria.
Unfortunately, it does not work after the update. We have reinserted the functions and can not find the right place anymore …..

Here is my big question and much bigger request: Is it possible that you include this feature in the theme?
We still have many customers who want this feature and I think that may be interesting for other users to filter portfolio entries multiple times.
Of course, I will gladly provide you with the code so far (attached).
I am looking forward to an answer from you!

    Best regards,
    Daniela

    Hey beyond-flora,

Starting with version 4.3 the avia.js file does not contain the isotope/portfolio filter js code anymore. We decided to split the js/css code into multiple files to increase the theme performance ( https://kriesi.at/archives/enfold-4-3-performance-update ). Now the code will not load if no portfolio/filter element is embedded in the active page.

To solve the issue you need to customize the theme files again. You can find the js code in enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\portfolio\portfolio.js

The portfolio php code can be found in enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\portfolio\portfolio.php.

At the moment we do not plan to bundle your code with future updates. However you can suggest a new feature here: https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/ and maybe we’ll include it if we get positive feedback from other users.

    Best regards,
    Dude

    Hi Kriesi-Team,
thanks for the feedback. A pity, but I’ll suggest it in the FEATURE REQUESTS, thanks!

We have now solved it manually and it works so far.
Could you still help me again – I have two questions / problems:

    1. The site is bilingual. Since we have entered the second filter hard in the code, the translation does not work here. Do you have a solution?

    2. Can I change the filters in the order? Now it’s ABC. The customer wants another display in the top line

    Thank you for help!
    Best regards,
    Daniela

    Hi Kriesi-Team,

    Thank you for your feedback!

    Hi,

    1) The site is bilingual. Since we have entered the second filter hard in the code, the translation does not work here. Do you have a solution?

I could not find a translation plugin on your dev website. This page http://rupertfey.com/garden-girls_n18/ is password protected. If you’re using a plugin like wpml you can follow the instructions here: https://wpml.org/de/faq/so-funktioniert-string-ubersetzung/ to make the strings/filters translatable.

    2) Can I change the filters in the order?
Probably this plugin https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-terms-order/ will help you to change the category/terms order which should also affect the filter order.

    Hi!!
Please look at this page (see below) Maybe you have looked on the wrong side? There we used polylang.
It is certainly queried with a code snippet the category? Could you perhaps tell me how that is transposed? We really only need one extra.
    Can you please look again?
The access data are still in the first post.

Thanks for the tip with the plug-in “Taxonomie-terms-order” that works!

    Thank you and best regards,
    Daniela

    Hi,

Unfortunately I’m not familiar with polylang and we officially don’t support it. I’d recommend to study the documentation https://polylang.pro/doc/ – hopefully it will help you. If not you probably need to hire a developer or buy the pro version of polylang to get support from the plugin developer.

    Best regards,
    Dude
