1. Optimize all images with AI/Photoshop before uploading to server ‘save as web safe’ jpg
2. Once all images are on the website optimize with ewww optimizer plugin twice 1hr 10mins apart.
3. Install wp-smushit run once to remove jpeg extra data, then uninstall.
4. Use BWP minify plugin to minify scripts and stylesheets.
5. Install WP-Super cache, select all recommended settings.
6. Logout your website, visit every page at least once to create super cache files.

June 30, 2018 at 5:03 am #979530Hi,
Most of the load time for your site is taken up by waiting for the server (indicated in yellow), that is something we can’t help with unfortunately. You would have to bring that up with your hosting provider. Other that that, you will find recommendation on what to do to speed your site up on the different test sites like Pingdom and GTMetrics.

RikardMarch 29, 2021 at 3:38 pm #1291104Hi,
I am using the Enfold theme for my web site, but all of a sudden my website is being loaded very slowly and and sometime doesn’t load at all.
When checked in Debug mode noticed that the issue was with the theme and tried all the know methods to get rid of the issue but was not successful.
Also i did check with the hosting provider and they came back with the same result as well.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
Thank You

jdm7March 31, 2021 at 10:57 am #1291518Hello Support…
Is anyone available to address this issue with javascript and css causing long load times? I really need some help here.April 1, 2021 at 7:53 am #1291699Hi jdm7,
Your site loads in 2.8 seconds when I checked it GTMetrix, what exactly do you need to change on your site?
Best regards,
RikardApril 1, 2021 at 7:56 am #1291701Hi Supreetha,
I checked your site on GTMetrix, and the biggest problem on your site is server response time (1.7 seconds), and large images on the front page. We can’t do anything about neither or those things unfortunately. I would suggest that you try reaching out to your hosting provider about the high server response times.

RikardApril 1, 2021 at 8:08 am #1291705I am completely baffled. Throughout the entire build, the site has been at a crawl. I though it was just my connection. Then the client said he also was having issues. At that point I assumed it was because of a server/wp issue. I just double checked and it is running as expected. Maybe it just needed you to look at it? I don’t what happened but thank you for looking into it and get back to me. Best to you.
