    http://www.eafolio.com/

I have been working on this for hours, this happens only with the Enfold theme.
Based on similar issues that others were having I have done the following to attempt to fix the issue with no success.

    – I have updated to WordPress 4.9.6
    – update: After activating enfold theme, the site has now crashed. I can’t even access wp-admin
    – I updated to php (PHP 7.0 (Single php.ini) this had no effect on theme and tested on (PHP 5.6 (FastCGI))
    – update: reinstalled fresh copy of WordPress and enfold. I am now getting this error:
Fatal error: in /home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/includes/helper-social-media.php on line 127
    – update: I bypassed that file just to test by adding an extra character to the folder “includes”. I am now getting the following errors:

Warning: include(/home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold//includes/admin/register-admin-options.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-superobject.php on line 198

Warning: include(/home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold//includes/admin/register-admin-options.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-superobject.php on line 198

Warning: include(): Failed opening ‘/home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold//includes/admin/register-admin-options.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/opt/php70/lib/php’) in /home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-superobject.php on line 198

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/class-superobject.php on line 222

Warning: require_once(includes/admin/register-portfolio.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 574

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘includes/admin/register-portfolio.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php70/lib/php’) in /home5/eafolioc/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 574

How do I contact support? This version seems really buggy and unstable. Is it possible to download a previous version?

    Hey ellalillo,
I believe you are getting this error because you “by-passed” the file, please rename your enfold theme folder to “enfold-old” and upload a new version as “enfold” to see if this solves.
If not please include ftp access & admin access in the Private Content area.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
I bypassed the file as a result of it giving me the error not the other way around as you suggested.
I uploaded a new file and everything seemed to work fine until I tried to change the copyright on the theme file ( © 2018 Copyright – Eduardo Astudillo [nolink] ). It crashed and sent me to a white screen. I deleted and uploaded a new file and when I went back to add the copyright info, it did it again. Why is this theme so buggy? It has great reviews, I don’t understand.

    Hi,
This sounds odd, adding [nolink] should not cause a crash. It sounds like you uploaded a new file into the enfold folder, I was suggesting to upload a competently new enfold folder and not to try overwriting the files.
But I see now that your site is running v4.4.1 with your copyright in place, which seems correct.

    Best regards,
    Mike

I figured it out, making changes to the Enfold theme and then activating the Child theme will make the site not work. I deleted database and installed fresh copies of Enfold and Child theme. What a nightmare.

Everything is new and the child theme is activated. I am trying to apply my own styles to the child theme style.css and nothing happens. This was the same issue that I began with two weeks ago!

    * Deleted cached data and tested from multiple browsers.
    * File named correctly: enfold-child

What the hell is wrong with this theme??????

Anything that I do it causes it to crash!

I have spent two weeks trying to get this theme to work!! It is really buggy! I don’t understand how it could be so buggy and have such high reviews!

    Hi,
Sorry you are having these issues, Can you please include a admin login and ftp access in the private content area so we can take a closer look?

    Best regards,
    Mike
