    For some reason I cannot use text blocks within page builder. When I add text to the text block and save it – it’s there. Then when I want to edit it, the text completely disappears and I have to add new text again. The strange thing is the text is visible in the Element Preview, but absent from the content editing box. The Visual tab doesn’t work, only Text one works.
    Similar problem with editing text on footer widget areas, except that I can’t add text at all, the text box collapses ans stops working.
    What I have done so far to try to fix it:

    • Updated the theme
    • Updated WP
    • Deactivated all plugins

    Nothing worked :-)
    If it’s a known problem and you can provide a hint on how to fix it – great, if not, I’m including the login info into my WP site so you can have a look.

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    I enabled the debug mode and ran the shortcode parser but it didn’t repair the page properly. Where is the original page? Did you duplicate that page?

    Hi Ismael,
    The problem affects the entire site not just one page. This page (the one I sent you the link to) is just a test page you can play with to see what the problem is. I modified the page a bit and marked problem text areas “text 1, text 2” etc., so it’s easier to see which text disappear when you try to edit.

    Hi Victoria,
    Yes, I’ve tried it before, nothing changed. After your note I re-installed WP through WP Admin – noting changed, and then re-uploaded the entire WP through FTP – nothing changed either – still having the same problem.
    Do you need me to set up an FTP access for you?

    Yes, I know that. I’m just asking if you created a duplicate of the original page because I noticed that the “Duplicate Post” plugin is activated. Where is the original page?

    Yes, I duplicated it from this page:

    The reason a duplicate was made is that the site is live and I didn’t want any text to be lost on live pages while you are trying to fix this problem.

    Hello guys,
    The problem has been solved! It wasn’t the theme, but the wordpress visual editor that crashed, I had to install a TinyMCE Advanced plugin to restore the visual editor. Everything seems fine now.
    How do I get rid of the text filed in the admin (the bottom of the page) where it shows all the Avia builder code? I don’t think it was there before.
