    Hi there,

    Working on a new website again :-))

    Can you advice me about the size/quality in which I should upload my images for the website of a photographer. They have to be absolutely sharp and clear for visitors. But they also have to load as fast as possible.

    How would you handle that?

    Hey maaikevk,

    You would want to use the images as large and high quality as possible, but you would also want to utilize a image compression plugin.

    Thanks Jordan,

    I discussed this with the photographer. She would like to work without a plugin if possible. I now recieved images of 2048 × 1365px from under 500kb size each.

    I am going to setup a test on my own website so we can decide which way it works the best.

    Let is know the results. If they are under 500kb I wouldn’t imagine it being an issue.

    Not in slowing down the site.

    But possibly they are not clear for viewers?
