    With all the talk about the big WordPress change to Gutenberg as its editor, I’m wondering if Enfold will be compatible with it? And if not, are there plans to make it so in a timely manner? I sure hope so as I’ve already tried out the Gutenberg plugin on my test site and love it!

    Hey lisetyrrell,

    To start off with, the theme won’t implement the Gutenberg editor at all. We might do so in the future though.

    So to make sure it is clear to people, at least for the beginning Enfold will continue to bypass the default WordPress editor to use its own AVIA editor meaning Gutenberg really won’t matter at first. But then after it launches you guys will look at incorporating it?

    I am not signed up to your blog so this is all new to me. I posted about Gutenberg previously so was notified about my post and found the 2 links about Gutenberg and Enfold. I tried out the Gutenberg plugin on a test site and loved it. So glad to hear that you are going to incorporate it and that we won’t have to look for another theme.

    I’m happy. I will look forward to Enfold updates knowing that I don’t have to change themes. You can close this topic as far as I’m concerned.
