Hi there,
We are using the full width slider as the first image on our site. It show’s up fine on a computer, but on mobile it shows up cutting off more than half the image if the phone is held in a vertical position. Horizontal seems to look ok. Can you please advise how I can get it to look right on mobile?
Thank you

It’s unfortunately very difficult to display background image the same on all screen size, could you try to duplicate the element in question and then use an image better adapted to smaller screens in the second one? You can then hide/show the correct element using the screen options in the element options.
Best regards,

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I am not understanding what you are saying.
“could you try to duplicate the element in question and then use an image better adapted to smaller screens in the second one?”
Please give me specific settings for creating this image
Can you please give me detailed instructions on how to do this? I am getting messages all the time that people cannot see the date of our event if they are using a phone.
Thank you

I can’t edit the image for you, you would have to do that in image editing software like Photoshop for instance. In general it’s not a very good idea to add text to a background image unless it’s placed in the very middle of the image. Maybe you could try creating a new version of the image with the text in the middle? If not I would recommend that you add the text as markup instead of in the actual image.

RikardJune 11, 2018 at 6:50 pm #971339Wow so this is the best solution you have? Obviously we know how to use photoshop. Have you actually looked at the image on a phone. It cuts off more than 3/4 of the image when held vertical. This is a major problem. There must be a way to get the image to show up and look correctly. Please take a look at the image on a phone. No matter how you edited the image it would be messed up.
June 12, 2018 at 10:33 am #971629Hi,
That is why you shouldn’t keep text in a background image, you can try this CSS though:
#fullscreen_slider_1 li { background-position: center !important; }
Or change the Image Position option in the element option.

RikardJune 17, 2018 at 1:59 am #973799Just so you know I solved the problem by using the Full Width Easy slider as opposed to Fullscreen Slider. That will help other people that have this issue.
