    Hi,

    I need help. I just updated my enfold to the latest version 4.4 but after that i get HTTP ERROR 500.

    i cannot access dashboard too.

    Hey shalenie,
    I was able to see your login page with no errors, but can I ask when you updated did you do this via ftp?
    If you updated via ftp, please be sure to remove the old enfold folder, before uploading the new folder.
    Please don’t try to overwrite the enfold folder, as it will leave old files behind.

    Thats what i did exactly. I just overwritten it without removing the old enfold folder. this has been my routine whenever a new version comes out and ive been doing this before without any problems. Is this the new proper way to do it?

    I have just updated it via ftp about 15 hours ago..

    What was the version of the theme before the update? Please provide the WP and FTP login details in the private field. We’d like to check it. Enable the error logs when you have the time. Paki butang lang ni sa wp-config.php file.

    hala pwede diay bisaya diri haha, actually okay na. nagka idea ko sa gi ingon ni mike, i deleted the old enfold folder nga na overwrite tapos uploaded the updated version karon ok na. hehe thanks

    So clarify lang nako, every time i will update the theme to its latest version via ftp, i need to delete the old enfold folder first before uploading the updated version. tama ba? unlike before i just overwrite it.

    Hi,
    This is correct, please don’t overwrite the theme folder anymore, this leaves old files in place. Always delete the old theme folder first then upload the new one.

    Is there anything else we can assist with on this issue, or shall we close this then?
