Feature request: Editable and linkable Template Parts

I like the feature of being able to store certain elements/ groups of elements/ pages as templates to reuse them.

However, I would love to have the following feature in future:

– be able to edit, manage and store a stored template directly, like it would be a custom post type
– be able to only „link“ to a template instead of inserting it, i.e.:

lets say you saved a section with headlines, texts, buttons, which you would like to use multiple times exactly as is on various pages. it would be lovely, if one could add an element to a page and within this element one could simply link to the template.

imagine, you need to apply changes to this element. at the moment you need to edit every single page, where the template was inserted. when the template would be only linked in every page and one could edit the template directly, one would need to edit it only once.
