Hi
My company has to be connected to Cision in case any press releases are made and I currently have a newsfeed that merges the cision-feed with any “blog-post” that I make – and display them on the front-page.
The developer we used to create this page for us didn’t create a child-theme and I have noticed that a lot of functionality and errors have occured since then. The theme is made in 4.2 and when I try to use the 4.3 (but without any of my personal customizations and external PHP-code) the functionality is back.
Is there a way to implement the Cision feed into Enfold/Wordpress than the way that they have made?
I am clueless and I would like to create a child-theme to be able to update Enfold, but I guess it’s a bit too late now.I tried to create a “new” Enfold layout but adding the 4.3 version as a new theme, and I got most of my functionality back, but the Cision-feed (which is custom made in the files on the server) was hard to implement so that they display on the front page which is why I decided to keep the old (and broken) theme at this moment.
If anyone could help me out, I would be forever grateful!
June 2, 2018 at 12:27 am #965617Hi, indpro. This is definitely something you’d have to hire a developer to look at. It would be next impossible to diagnose and resolve without having access to the server and a login for WordPress. I’m a PHP/WordPress developer and I’d be happy to help but I’m not sure I’m allowed to solicit for work here. If you’re interested, though, reply back and we’ll see if one of the moderators gives us the thumbs up to work together.

I have responded on your other thread, but this thread made the context clearer.
The issue you’re having doesn’t have anything to do with bugs in Enfold theme but a feature you want to implement and would be out of the scope of our support.
Hiring a developer is highly suggested.Best regards,

Thanks!
