I have an interesting problem: when I click on Home, I get a ‘page not found’ error.

    What I did:
    – I set the Homepage (and Blog) in the Enfold settings.
    – I did not set static pages (in Settings > Reading).
    – I did save my permalinks (to post name).

    What could be wrong?

    Hey,

Please try de-activating all active plugins and check if that helps. If it does not, please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it.

    Deactivating plugins does not work.

    Hi,

It works fine on my end, attached a screenshot in private content field.
Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh

Really strange, because I visited the site with my laptop which I did not use before. (and yes I tried flushing the cache)

I thing this error happened when I unchecked the maintenance page.

Other strange thing: when I selected a random page for the Homepage, the topbar menu link ‘Home’ did go to Home, but not the logo.

    This behaviour worries me.

    Hi,

That was because you added “Home” page to your menu. I edited your menu and added “Home” menu item as a custom link. Please review your website :)

Ok, interesting. I’m not sure what I did wrong. Why does the Homepage need a custom link?

    #963460

    Hi,

When you set your “home” page as your frontpage, it would not be an issue but when you set another page as your frontpage, “home” page would be linked to yourdomain.com/home/ as it should. To have “home” menu item link to yourdomain.com, you should simply add it as custom link.

    Hi,

Same problem is back! We did not change anything. What is wrong?

    Hi,

Have you change any settings into the Installation?
    Maybe the front page?

    Best regards,

No I did not. I’m pretty clueless what happened.

    Hi,
Your homepage is loading for me without any 404’s
Please try clearing your browser cache.

    Best regards,
    Mike
