Hello!
I know I can add a 1px (or more) border at the top and bottom of a section. But that border goes from one side of the browser to the other. I want the have the appearance that the two layout elements in a section are grouped together by one border, or box, around both of them.
How can I do this?
May 28, 2018 at 3:23 pm #963297Hey,
Could you please post a link to your test page and a screenshot showing the changes you would like to make? You can upload your screenshots on imgur.com or Dropbox public folder and post the links here.
Best regards,
YigitMay 28, 2018 at 3:36 pm #963309You’ll see 4 sections after the main image. Each section is basically a duplicate of the previous, with different content. The content looks like it’s just ‘floating’ there in each section. I want to have a box, or border, around the pic (microphone) and associated text to the right of each image.
Of course, when displayed on a smartphone, I’d want the border to be responsive so that it ‘wraps’ the pic and associated text.

Have you tried adding a border to the column element instead of the content inside it? There’s a “Border” panel inside the column editor.

IsmaelMay 31, 2018 at 12:11 pm #964746Can you go to the website below? You’ll see I have 4 columns with the border you mention.
Obviously I have the border around several content elements because these content elements are in the same column.
But I really want to lay these columns out horizontally, which to me means sections. Is there a way to have one border around several content elements within a section? If I could take what you see on the website and lay them on their side (pic to the left, title over the text and to the right of the pic) — along with the border, it’d be exactly what I want.

If those elements within the section have another parent container, we can assign border to it.
Could you please attach a mockup of what you’re trying to achieve?
Which elements exactly do you need the border for?
Best regards,
