    Hello

I get a problem on the homepage of my website.

Before the update, I had a full screen video.

    After the update :
    – The video is not loading. Instead of the video, I get the fallback image which is not full screen.
    – Furthermore, the button on my home page doesn’t appear on mobiles.

Can you fix the bugs ?

    Best regards,

    Aurélien CHAMPAGNE

    Hey aurelienchampagne,

I’m currently seeing the video on the homepage and the button on mobile. Were you able to get this corrected?

    Best regards,

    Hello Jordan,
I’m sorry, but it’s still not working.
I watched from an other place, with an other mobile, an other laptop and an other connection.
The bugs are still there. I don’t understand how you can watch the video and the button on mobile.

    Hi,
For desktop your video plays for me without error, but for mobile you have this error:

Failed to set referrer policy: The value ” is not one of ‘no-referrer’, ‘no-referrer-when-downgrade’, ‘origin’, ‘origin-when-cross-origin’, ‘same-origin’, ‘strict-origin’, ‘strict-origin-when-cross-origin’, or ‘unsafe-url’. The referrer policy has been left unchanged.

Please see this article that may assist: How To Fix a Missing Referrer-Policy on a Website

    Hi Mike,
    Thanks for your reply.
I’m sorry, but the homepage’s video is still not loading. It works on mobile when you click on the fallback image, but not from the desktop.
I asked several people in France. They try form different places, with different web browsers. As me, they only see the fallback image with black borders. I can send you a screenshot if you want.
This problem starts with the last update.

    Aurélien

    Hi,
Sorry that is not what I meant, for me on desktop the video correctly plays, please see video in Private Content area.
and on mobile the fallback image correctly shows, the video is not meant to play on mobile, please see screenshot in Private Content area.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
    Thanks for your reply.
Indeed, I spoke also about the desktop.
I don’t understand how the video correctly plays from your desktop. Because, for your information, I asked 5 different people from 5 different places with 5 different connections, and they see like me the fallback image instead of the video.
Why is it working for you and not for us ?
    Best regards,
    Aurélien

    Hi,
I’m not sure, I tested on browserling.com and the video played there too.
Please try with the link in the Private Content area.
Note that it loads a little slow with the service and seems to hang if the browser asks if you want to translate the page until you close the prompt.
Are you using Apple devices? I could ask our team to check with Apple if you wish.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
Where are you located ? I asked other people in France and they have the same problem as me ! It is not related to the device, because some use Apple and some other devices.
Just to let you know, I upload my video on YouTube and it works again on my website. It seems the link with Vimeo doesn’t work anymore in France ; maybe due to GDPR.
    Regards,
    Aurélien

    Hi,
Sounds like you have figured it out. I’m in the USA.
Is there anything else we can assist with on this issue, or shall we close this then?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
    Yes you can !
But are you going to resolve the link issue between Enfold and Vimeo ?
Since the last update (GDPR update), it’s a problem if we only can use YouTube on our website to show our videos.
    Regards,
    Aurélien

    Hi,
I created a test page on your site with a video element and used the default Vimeo video link that is found in the video element, and it worked correctly. Please see link in the Private Content area.
Perhaps to get your Vimeo links to work you need to agree to something on Vimeo, or make a change in your Vimeo account?
Perhaps ask the Vimeo support if something has changed since GDPR?

    Best regards,
    Mike
